glacier_kittyArctic sky watchers should be alert for auroras at the end of the month. A Halloween storm could be brewing
Woo! Now if it'll stay clear on Halloween haha..
I heard this is the coldest winter since like the 60s. Global warming? Where? (And of course now that I'm here haha) I heard it's cause there's not a lot of solar wind (it's at its low point in its cycle)

Today's stupidest quote: [Commuters will] rent small four-seater capsules such as we find on a ski lift. These capsules will be linked together into little trains that come into the city. As the train goes out towards the perimeter of the city, the capsule will become an individual unit. Date: 2008-10-22 12:15 am (UTC)That's crazy that this is the coldest it has been up there since the '60s. Meanwhile down here I keep on feeling like these winters we've had the past few years just keep on getting milder and milder. (Just watch, now we're going to get hit with like 5 blizzards haha.)
