Hear the symphony..
Jan. 24th, 2008 10:41 amAlong with the Thy Majestie CD I bought "Divine Wings of Tragedy" by Symphony X. They're actually coming here in March or April at the same place where I saw Kamelot. Are they good live?
Today's stupidest quote: Newsweek screwed up. Nearly everyone admits that, including the magazine's editors, who retraced and inadequately sourced report that US interrogators had flushed a Korean down the toilet at Guantanamo Bay (Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun)

Date: 2008-01-24 05:41 pm (UTC)That, along with V, is my favorite album from Symphony X. The title track alone is worth the price of the CD. It's just...well, friggin' awesome to say the least :D
Are they good live?
Hell yes! They're awesome live. I've seen them twice in the past: in 2002 (with Blind Guardian, who I didn't know) and last year in July (headlining). Both times were outstanding. Mostly because of singer Russell Allen who projects so much intensity when he sings. If you get a chance, check out the Star One videos on YouTube to see Russell at his best live :)
