Hell yeah! He's so cute. I only watched it for him and Clooney's character (Dr.Ross?) I used to watch it every day after school last year but now they only show reruns at like 10 am |:

I wish! Yeah, I'm only a sophomore but all we have at my school is French & Spanish right now. I'm taking French eventually but I want to take Latin in college or something. I want to be fluent in a few different languages :-)

errare est humanum. This sentence gives me more grief than I can possibly put into words. It's straightforward, isn't it? It makes perfect sense. It's a wonderful example of how infinitives can function as substantives. Yet I am unable to impress that upon the minds of my students. "Der, it's a verb, how can it be a subject?" *bashes head against wall* Tell me I love Latin. Tell me that tutoring is good for me. Tell me that not everyone is as dense as the kids I'm working with!! *wails and wails until I magically land in Rome and am happy forever more*

I'm tutoring - but I tell you, I consider myself teacher to these kids because their teachers aren't doing their own part. How can a student make it halfway through his second year in Latin and not know the difference between nominative and accusative??? How can these teachers be not fired?!

Starting over the summer, they may give me my own class of home-school kids. It would be so nice to have people coming to me who aren't specifically the ones failing. ^_^
