Wait! Wait! Would TSO be considered power metal? 'Cause if they are, I'm going to have to choose them for my favorite since I actually got to see them live and everything. Plus, they have pretty lights. ;)

I actually had to ask one of my bestfriends (the one who got me into metal in the first place) what neo-classical is exactly, and he described it as basically a band who predominately sounds like classical music. Stratovarious, for example, is neo-classical. I found that interesting :D
And yes, hardcore SUCKS and metalcore is only slightly better =P
