Friday five
Oct. 30th, 2020 04:13 pm1. What starts off difficult but gets easier? Writing an essay..the first paragraph is always the hardest!
2. What’s exciting in the beginning and end, but dull in the middle? Certain books..sometimes there's TOO much information lol
3. What’s delicious at first but progressively worse as you go along? Maybe Zebra Cakes..so much sugar!!
4. What makes you feel terrible while you’re doing it but great when you’re done? Exercising lol
5. What did you once do quickly but now do slowly? Eating..ever since choking, I can't eat fast anymore..sometimes it's embarrassing (at Dana's wedding, I was only halfway done with my steak when everyone else was finished with theirs), but choking is worse lol :P
At work we decided to do a free bag of books for kids on the last Friday of every month (we used to do a free book every Friday, but that stopped after corona happened)..Donna posted it on Facebook, which got over ten THOUSAND views!!! We tried to do social distancing (5 people in the store), but that definitely didn't happen..that was the most amount of people in the store in a long time! It was fun since the rest of the week was slow, but I hope no one had corona. D: It's a nice thing to do for the kids (it was fun seeing their Halloween costumes too!), and it brings in new people too!
Orange Guy stripped protections from 55% of the Tongass National Forest (southeast Alaska), one of the world's largest intact temperate rainforests, to logging (9.3 million acres!!). Of all the things he has done, I think that hurts the worst. :( What is wrong with him??
