Books read in July
Aug. 1st, 2013 04:01 pmEverest: The West Ridge by Thomas Hornbein (Jul 1-8)
The Wall by Jeff Long (Jul 9-21)
Mrs. Chippy's Last Expedition: The Remarkable Journal of Shackleton's Polar-Bound Cat by Caroline Alexander (Jul 22-25)
I LOVED Mrs. Chippy's Last Expedition, but the end had me hugging Abby and sobbing haha. After Shackleton's boat got crushed by the ice, they had to shoot all the animals before walking to the mainland. The book was written in Chippy's view, so that made it even worse. The last entry was like "they're looking sad and petting me so long!" *tear* I wish I could find more books written in a cat's point of view..
I don't like that it's August already..it seems time goes by faster and faster every year. D: Summer always goes by too fast..
( Day 19 - The first song alphabetically in your iPod/iTunes )
Would you rather wake up unexpectedly in the hospital or wake up unexpectedly in your neighborhood jail? In the hospital
Today's trivia: In Michigan it is illegal to put a skunk in your boss's desk
