Sep. 19th, 2012 04:59 pmToday in lab the TA passed out our essay prompt for the earthquakes part of the class (there's an essay for all three subjects). I was kinda dreading it when I read it before on the syllabus but when I read over it it actually looks pretty fun! We choose two major earthquakes from the list (1964 Alaska, 2011 Japan, etc) and talk about where it happened, the plate boundary it was on, damage, etc. Sounds cool to me haha. I'm definitely doing the Alaska earthquake
The PFD was announced yesterday..it's $878 this year. Seems low, but I'm not gonna complain about free money :P
