OMGOMG..I am SO going to this. I LOVE mountaineering books and was totally shocked when I saw this! I read another book about that event on K2 too. Plus ONE OF THE SHERPAS IS GONNA BE THERE?! After reading so much about them I can't wait to meet one of them!! So awesomee :D *dies*

Today's trivia: The keratin layer of dead skin is thickest on the hands and feet. It's this layer that absorbs moisture during a long bath. This is why only the hands and feet wrinkle when soaked for a long time
