*hugs river*
Mar. 9th, 2009 10:28 amYesterday mom and I went to the science museum. We went to the planetarium and watched a show on the planets and then went to the Imax type theater and watched something on the Grand Canyon and how the Colorado River is dying. It even mentioned GLACIERS haha (and showed a picture!). Aunt Gina met us at the museum. We looked around more and went to dinner and walked by the river
I'm gonna hopefully meet up with Emily today! She goes to college in Norman so she's close by. We've been talking on Myspace but haven't seen each other in person for awhile
( pic of the day )
Eyak: These Indians, related to the Athabaskans, lived along the coast at the mouth of the Copper River. Both the language and the people have almost vanished, absorbed by the neighboring Tlingit and Pacific Yupik cultures and hard hit by white settlement
