Winter Solstice Alaska style
Dec. 21st, 2008 11:17 amThe sun comes up today at 10:59 (pretty soon!) and goes down at 2:40. Then it'll start getting light later each day! *phew* Yesterday there were fireworks to celebrate the solstice
Margerie Glacier is taller than the Statue of Liberty..it's 350 feet and the statue is 307 feet. Haha woww (go Margerie! :D)
