Date: 2006-08-26 04:23 am (UTC)1. What book or books were special to you in your childhood? Anne of Green Gables (hey! That's one of your vocab words!)
2. What was particularly special or memorable about those books? I guess it was the first "Young Adult" book I read (my 3rd grade Reading teacher gave me a copy for Xmas) and I just fell in love with Anne...I wanted to be her more than anything, haha.
3. Have you re-read any of them as an adult? Hmm, the last time I read them was probably when I was 15 or 16.
4. If so, were the books as good as you remembered them? --
5. What do you think about movies being made out of children's classics (like the Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of The Rings, etc.)? I haven't seen Narnia yet, but it's on the queue...I love LOTR, though. And I actually have seen the movies they made out of Anne of Green Gables, and I absolutely loved them, too. :)
