I have this huge list of vocab from The Scarlet Letter that my teacher passed out...she said the words that weren't starred aren't used anymore. Oh really? I'll list the ones I've seen. Brave (why on earth is that on the list at all?!), perchance, serene, personages, cloister, heterogeneous, wherefore, methinks, misguidance, conceive, insensibility, type, expostulation, bale-fire, interpret, ligaments, anathemas, gesticulation (Luca!!!), labyrinth, ruffs, albiet, warily, nurture, unobtrusive, vindicate, forebode, propagate, child's play, forlorn, unamiable, ethereal, obscure, morbid, casual, wrought upon, wrought out, wanted, Spanish Main, plebeian, gleeman, quarterstaff, aqua vitae, oracles, and eminence. Surely she must be on something...

My cousin had a baby October 1st!! His name is Joaquin (like Joaquin Phoenix!). Great choice of a name! *drool* I wanna meet him!!
