Sooo tomorrow I leave for Europe till July 4th...I'm mostly all packed. I dunno if I'll be able to get online...I'll miss you guys!! And don't unfriend me either...I'm just on vacation! I still won't believe I'm actually going till I'm on the plane or something

I watched Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy yesterday...it was pretty good (I've never read the book). The song at the beginning was AWESOME. The Sum of all Fears came yesterday too (now my movies decide to come?). I don't remember why I rented it...

You're probably in Europe right now, but I will be making sure my little personal spirit ensures a safe and happy trip. *nods* The plane trip will be the hardest part. I generally have to get up and walk repeatedly in order to keep from having muscle cramps when I am in a plane, and that is not easy to do in economy class.

I honestly hated the HGTTG film. It is not based on the book, but a radio serial (on which the book is based). They got less than a tenth of the detail from the radio serial that it covered, and what they did get in, they mangled beyond recognition. Dialogues that were as funny as hell went by without so much as a chuckle, characters (especially Zaphod) became thoroughly unlikeable, and details that were essential to the story making sense were jettisoned in favour of additions that made sure it didn't. I remember writing a post to all those who expressed approval of the LOTR films in their board that they helped this insult to the literate happen.

I presume from your statement at the end of that paragraph that you have signed onto an online rental outlet? Me too! I am still a bit unsure I want to keep doing it, however.
