My Latin teacher has been...odd lately. When he checks my work or I ask him for help he makes me feel like I'm stupid...he's never done that before. I told him a sentence was confusing and he's like "why?? What is it about it that's confusing you??" and I said "the stupidest things confuse me" and he said "that's ok, I'm here to help" and I'm like..."wow you don't sound like you wanna help"...I almost cried in class. I cried last night though...I would've told my mom but it was 12 AM and everyone was asleep...Kathryn was there though...she made me feel a whooole lot better. I dunno what's up with my teacher but he's making me lose interest in Latin...isn't he supposed to do the opposite? Stop it Mr. Sales, cause I know I am not stupid, just slow...

It's raining again yaaay...

Today's Latin: potestine plus pecuniae in mensa ponere? (Can you put more money on the table?) Man are they running out of ideas already?

Don't let one cranky teacher turn you off! You've had such an incredible enthusiasm for Latin ever since you started - it would be an honest-to-goodness tragedy if you stopped. If he doesn't get over whatever rock is up his tush soon, let someone else on your faculty know. He's there to help, you're not there to suffer.

Hopefully it'll all pass. I hope things get better for you.

Personally, it sounds like he didn't mean to insult you, he was just not thinking about what was coming out of his mouth.
Give him another shot, letting go of this resentment that's starting to build up. If he continues to make you feel uncomfortable, maybe you should say something to him along the lines of: "I know you want to help me, but you have a habit of making me feel stupid."
He should ask you why, and then try and explain.
It's too early in the semester to give up!!!!!!

*dances thriller* Im not sure why im dancing, but there is no reason to feel bad. The fact that you actually WANT to learn makes you miles better than most people. *spins and breaks it DOWN!* WO! You hear the door slam and realize there is nowhere left to run. You close your eyes and hope its just your imagination! Cause its just Thriller!
