This is about LJ, but I'll post it here anyway :P

1. LJ appeared in April 1999, the year when I… became worried about Y2K haha..I've always hated people's "end of the world" predictions :/
2. As a child, I wanted to become a… botanist, vet, person who delivered mail..those are the main ones I can remember, anyway
3. My favorite school subject was… Reading, Latin, World History, gym with the special ed. kids..
4. The tune of my carefree youth is... "Who Let the Dogs Out?," "Floorfiller" (to this day, when I see an "out of order" sign, the lyric "something's out of order, people in the corners" STILL gets in my head haha), "My Heart Will Go On," etc
5. A book (or an author) that influenced me... so many! The Worst Journey in the World is definitely one of them though, along with the Shannara series, Where the Red Fern Grows, etc
6. A city (or cities) I truly love... Wheathampstead, London, Carcassonne, Valdez, Watertown (Wisconsin), etc
7. I started an LJ blog in … because I wanted... 2004, because my friend at the time had one and suggested I make one too, because it was fun for her and another way we could communicate with her (I think we met on Quizilla?? Ohh the memories haha). I haven't looked back since! It's WEIRD reading entries from back then though, I was completely different!
8. The catch phrase that nearest and dearest recognize me by… "fancy!" (I LOVE saying that word haha), "that's cool," "nice!," etc
9. A movie I’m never tired to watch again... Harry Potter is always entertaining..
10. When I was 25, I liked to… go online, geocache, travel, watch movies, etc
11. I can’t live a day without… my glasses
12. An LJ post I’d like to recommend to everyone… when I went to Weathampstead in 2018, for one
13. I’m proud of… not being a controlling friend anymore (it was awful, I made people give me a time I could talk to them online, and would get SUPER upset if they couldn't for whatever reason..ugh), doing well at work, overcoming depression and coming out a better person, etc
14. If I could give advice to myself from 1999, I’d… say "relax, don't get so upset over trivial things!"
15. My favorite LJ blog(s)... aw, it's not fair to single them out! They're all good in different ways lol
16. My favorite LJ community (-ies)... surveys was always fun, people almost never post there anymore though..maybe surveys are less popular than they used to be..
17. A dish (or a food product) I learned to like only as an adult... onions, Indian food..probably others I can't think of haha
18. Within these 25 years I’ve visited… Switzerland, Wisconsin, Catalina Island, England, Anchorage, Florida, San Diego, Yuma, Puerto Rico, Rome, etc
19. My favorite cure for sadness is… taking a nap, playing a fun "hidden cat" game (I'm totally addicted haha), maybe eating bad food lol
20. If I didn’t have to work, I’d do… too much sitting around, probably. I get a lot of exercise at work, I'm always running around doing something..it helps keep me sane :P
21. My superpower is… for some reason, babies like to look/smile at me (it bothered me when I was younger, but now I just smile and wave back lol). I've been somewhere where a baby was crying, looked at me, and just..stopped and became calm. Dogs that don't like strangers will come up to me and want to be pet. I can identify certain glaciers in pictures. A lot of the time when I travel, even if it's a place that's usually cloudy, it will get sunny when I'm there, etc
22. A useful skill I’d like to teach younger generations is… hmmm..not sure..
23. If I could spend a day as an animal, that would be… a bird, so I could fly into the mountains and see glaciers!
24. The way I’d like to grow old is… happily, never losing my excitement for things I like
25. I’m grateful to LJ for… meeting so many great people!! I have met Dana in person many times. Giving me a place where I can write my adventures/obsessions, etc, and preserving so many memories! Life wouldn't be the same without LJ!

That was an instant "must buy" when I came across it haha. If I go back to London, I must see the Great Bed of Ware at the Victoria and Albert museum..it's so huge it's said four couples could lie in it! Shakespeare even mentioned it in Twelfth Night: "as many lies as will lie in thy sheet of paper, although the sheet were big enough for the bed of Ware." It's crazy fancy!

Looks comfy though lol
13. What Would You Choose to Do If You Had Unlimited Free Time and No Restrictions? That's alright for like a day, then I start going crazy and need to go back to work haha. Probably go online and obsessively play hidden cat games LOL
14. Is Struggle Essential to Happiness? It can be..you definitely appreciate the good things more after you've been struggling!
15. What Kinds of Games and Puzzles Do You Like? Hidden things (cats, letters, etc. There's a whole "I Commissioned Some..." series on Steam, where artists were paid to hide things in their art, like cats, ladybugs, etc. I LOVE them!), crosswords, ones like Betrayal at House on the Hill, etc
16. What Would You Like to Learn to Make by Hand? Not sure, I'm terrible at making things/being crafty lol
17. When and For What Reasons Do You Seek Silence? To recharge (like after work or other social events), something might be too overwhelming, etc
