A book you meant to read in 2022: The Bounty: The True Story of the Mutiny on the Bounty by Caroline Alexander (May 31-June 6). This book was waaaay too detailed..like I seriously didn't care about one of the mutineer's sister's poems. The actual mutiny and aftermath are interesting though..some of the mutineers' descendants still live on Pitcairn Island!

A book with a rabbit on the cover: Alice by Christina Henry (June 7-11)

A book published in spring 2023: The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny and Murder by David Grann (June 12-18). One crazy story! The poet Lord Byron's grandfather was on the ship, which I hadn't known..wow

A book with alliteration in the title: Alaskans All by Barrett Willoughby (June 19-21)

A book with a song lyric as its title: Fire on the Mountain: The True Story of the South Canyon Fire by John N. Maclean (June 22-29)

A book you think your best friend would like: The Field Guide to Dumb Birds of North America by Matt Kracht (June 29). LOL Dana, you'd get a kick out of this book..I saw it at a gift shop in Santa Fe and was so amused I HAD to get it :P

July 1 – Second Half of the Year Day: How would you rate the first half of this year? Are there things you could change going forward to make the second half of the year better? It really wasn't that great, especially in January. Going to Castner Glacier and vacation was good though. The Prozac needs to take a better hold, I need to know what's going on with sleep, I think I should make an appointment with my OBGYN because my PMS symptoms are AWFUL and not helping my anxiety/depression (I wish she had just taken my ovaries too, ugh), and going on another vacation would be cool too :P
