glacier_kittyYesterday was Jo's birthday, so I went to eat at a restaurant downtown with mom and Ryan and Jo a bunch of their friends..I thought it was going to be just me, mom, Ryan and Jo, so that threw me off my already unsocial-feeling mood lol. It's weird, but I always feel like I don't belong when I'm around their friends. We also got seated in the worst possible place, next to the bar, so it was SUUUPER loud (apparently a bus had just dropped off a bunch of tourists there). When the waiter asked for our drink order, I couldn't find my voice, nor did I really want to speak..no one would have been able to hear me anyway. I finally found my voice when the waiter asked for our orders, and finally told him I wanted lemonade ("oh, so you DO want a drink!" Uh..yes??). He brought everyone else's drinks, but not mine..I looked at him to ask him about my drink but I was like "*strangled voice* umm..I..I..uhh..." and he just walked away. I'm sure he never heard me, but I was looking right at him!! After that, I just decided I wasn't even going to try speaking anymore, and looked on my phone until the food came..I normally don't do that when eating with people, but the noise was so overwhelming I had to do *something* to distract myself so I wouldn't just freak out (a couple of Jo's friends are SUPER extroverted, which added to the OTHER loudness, and I kept trying to not burst into tears). At least the food was good lol. After we were done eating, I could see that Jo was now sitting quietly like me..indeed, when we got to the car, he was like "OMG I'm saturated with stimuli!!" Phew, I'm glad it wasn't just me! When the waiter gave me my bill, he touched my shoulder (*dies more inside*) and was like "sorry, I just realized I forgot your lemonade!" Sigh. To be fair, part of that was my fault for not speaking up again after failing the first time, but I just did NOT want to talk after that. That was one of the most miserable dinners I've ever had. :/ Everyone else was going axe throwing after that, but I was like "NOPE, I'm done," and went home (mom said I was going to miss having cake, but I so didn't care at this point) and THEN had a panic attack and burst into tears haha. I hope Jo at least enjoyed himself! I feel fragile and very tired today..those situations are so hard! Next time I should speak up, and ask if there's a quieter place lol
Today is my parents' and Ryan and Jo's one year anniversary of buying the new house! Wow, that went by fast lol. We all very much enjoy life there, especially having bonfires and watching the duck chicks grow up! (The lake was a big reason they wanted that house.) I wish I could tell who the Armada of Nine is, but they all look the same now! The neighbor's kids love Abby haha. We do miss the seclusion of the other house, but at least our neighbors are nice lol
Next is my 9th grade journal in its entirety! (Not all at once, of course. :P) After this, I'm hoping to find more of that kind of thing when I go to Payson, so I can share those too!)

In a recent class I learned about ancient Egypt and some ancient civilizations. The Egyptians had a strong empire and was eventually conquered by the Romans. I have been waiting to learn about Egypt since I was obsessed! (7th grade) In that class (history), I also want to learn about the Medieval Ages, my favorite period in time! The medieval ages is when people built all those cool castles, from Elian Donan in the Scottish Highlands to the Tower of London in London, castles are all awesome! I’ve actually been to the Tower of London, and it has some really bloody history! But it is a really cool fortress, built by William the Conqueror in 1066. I also want to learn about the history of England and Scotland. I want to live in the Scottish Highlands when I’m older, and I’m going to build my own house, which will be 4 stories with 3 balconies and a courtyard!

My favorite quote is “the Elves didn’t make the Shadowen, the Elves, are the Shadowen” [why??] from the Elf Queen of Shannara by Terry Brooks. It could get me a idea for a story cause, well, I don’t know! I also have a favorite saying, which is “shades” from the Shannara books, also by Terry Brooks! Well, you couldn’t write a story about “shades” because Terry Brooks already used it, but I still use it as my saying. I also like the quote “Leah! Leah!” by Morgan Leah, from the Heritage of Shannara. It’s his battle cry, and now it’s mine (not a “battle” cry, but for playing a game or something). [Did I actually say that when playing a game?? People must have thought I was so weird LOL.] I also like “I do not deny that my heart has greatly desired this!” by Galadriel from Lord of the Rings. I also like when Legolas says “Le ab-dollen” (Elvish for your late) when Aragorn arrives at Helm’s Deep, and then he says in a less funny way “you look terrible” and Aragorn laughs

The Most Extreme is my favorite TV show. Your group thinks it is innapropriote, but I don’t think so. The people who produced the episodes didn’t harm the animals in any way, but you are lying and saying they did harm the animals just to get attention and get the program off. I don’t like that. Now, I’ll take you to court if I have to, and settle this once and for all! Even though you want it off, there are other people (like me) who really like and enjoy the show, so quit attacking the show and we’ll leave you alone. Just warning you…

I was visited by a shade last night. It told me to go to sleep. [Well that’s creepy O_o] When I did it told me in my dream that I would visit a new place or country every night! Last night I visited New Zealand, and I got to see all the places where they filmed Lord of the Rings! The shade also told me that he will just pick a place or country at random and take me there, so it’s always a surprise!
Next day…
I visited Scotland last night! I saw the Highlands and the other cities! The Highlanders wore kilts and played bagpipes (which was annoying!) There were also TONS of castles! My fave being Elian Donan! I saw Loch Ness lake, but no Loch Ness Monster. It is the deepest lake in Scotland! [Wow, it’s over 700 feet deep!!] Hmm…I wonder what cool place the shade will take me to tonight…

Things to make the world less irritating: the democrats would become Christians and stop dissagreeng on EVERYTHING, no UA band, my brother would stop trying to annoy me, if my computer wasn't slow, adults woudn't get annoyed so easily, people stopped talking while another was talking, people would like trees and not destroy the WHOLE rainforest, school would have less homework, Mono Lake's alkali flies would live here instead of horseflies, the Marriott and Courtyard Marriott hotels would be less expensive, when you left on a trip, you could make up all your homework & tests

I don’t think anything still does. [I wish I had written the topic we had to write about!] I’m too tired to think of anything. It took me 4 hours to fall asleep! I had a fun weekend! I saw Secondhand Lions and the Return of the King trailer was on the previews! Now I know I have to see it! It looks SO good! My brother decided to watch We Were Soldiers, so I got off the Internet to watch. There was this song that was in various parts of the movie, and I think it was in another movie, because it sounded familiar. That’s why it took me 4 hours to fall asleep, trying to figure out what movie it was from! [Why didn’t I just google it??] I never figured it out. My mom said the singer sounded Scottish, but I have to get the soundtrack to really know. [*googles soundtrack* That song must have been “Sgt. Mackenzie” by Joseph Kilna Mackenzie, who is definitely Scottish. There, that took about 2 seconds, no sleep lost. :P] I wish I had a Scottish accent! I heard if you live in London for a long time, you kinda get some of their accent! [Well grandma has lived in England since around 2007 or 2008 and doesn’t have one yet, so it must take a LONG time lol.] Maybe the same in Scotland! That’s why I’m gonna live there!

She is very nice and sweet. She has Asperger Syndrome, a form of autism, but she still lives a normal life. She is brash and loves a good adventure or a new place. She is usually happy and always has a smile on her face. She can't stand to be mean or people being mean to her. She also LOVES to read, her favorites being the Shannara books by Terry Brooks, LOTR by Tolkien (though I can't understand it!), Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawles, and others. She taught herself to read when she was 3! So, I think Heather is a really great person!

I don’t think I’ve ever had a fight with a friend. I’m too nice, and I never do anything to get in a fight with a friend. I get in fights with my brother and parents, but I’d rather not talk about it. Hey, guess what? I might go to England, Scotland, and Ireland for a Student Abassador program! I don’t know yet cause I have to go to a meeting to see what it’s like, and how much money it is, but I hope my parents say yes! My mom knows I love Scotland and England, so I have a good chance! [Not that time, mom didn’t thing I was mature enough yet.] *when I 1st saw paper* “Cool! I GET TO GO TO SCOTLAND AND BACK TO LONDON?! I’LL GET TO GO TO THE HIGHLANDS AND SEE PICCADILLY CIRCUS AGAIN?! Can I go? Mom - “we have to go to the meeting, send the paper saying your interested.” I got the invatation yesterday. My dad said we need to go back to Europe anyway. I hope I can go!

If I were stranded on a deserted island, I would take my mom, dad and Orlando Bloom. I would take my parents cause I love them and I would like them to be with me. I would want Orlando Bloom cause he's SO cute and nice and I want to see what he's like. I would name the island Highland Island. [But what if it’s a flat desert??] If you were stranded, how would you brush your teeth and stuff like that. [That would be the least of your problems!] I’ve ALWAYS wondered that since I saw “Cast Away.” If Orlando was with me, it would probably remind him of when he was at the set of “Pirates of the Caribbean.” I would miss the Internet, since I’m addicted. I wonder what I would do on the island…’’

If grades were abolished I would put this in its place: However old you are they put you in a group and learn whatever they need to. Ok, I’m out of ideas. I had a fun weekend! I watched, like, 5 movies! I watched LOTR: The Two Towers, A Knight’s Tale, Braveheart, Lost & Found, and Robin Hood. [Lost & Found?? *googles it* OMG NO WAY I’ve been wanting to know the name of that movie for years!!! There was one scene with a dog (the only scene I remember lol) where mom was DYING of laughter haha. Yaaay, years-long mystery solved!! Thanks, past me, for going off topic!]
It rained on Sunday. It made me pine for Hawaii. When I went there, I went to a place called Waimea, and it looked like the Scottish Highlands, and it was cloudy and rainy. So, whenever it rains, it will remind me of Waimea or the Highland Hills (my name for it). I also beat my record of how long I can stay on the Internet - 10 hours and 18 minutes! [Surely I got up to eat and go to the bathroom??] Yep, all my Internet friends were on the message boards. Well, except for Lianachan, who is a Highlander! He was playing soccer a few weeks ago and hurt himself. The last time we saw him was September 28. He told me he’s the right person to talk to if I want to know about the Highlands! I hope he will get better so we can talk to him again. But, everyone else was there. I like mostly everyone there but there are some people that I am close to. They are (get ready for weird names. Not their real names, we have user names): ShallHonorArise, Lianachan, Lady-Eowyn, Lady-of-Rohan, the_great_sorceress, RingwraithFreak, Faramir_of_Gondor, and others. We are hardcore Lord of the Rings fans and we are called Ringnuts! I like that name. It’s a good name for us. I have Quizilla friends too, but there are too many to name! I have made 28 quizzes! Ok, good enough. The describes my feet! I had fencing yesterday. It was fun. When I got on the Internet when I got home and found IMDb, I saw Lianachan was there, but 14 hours ago. He said he was healing from his sports injury and said he might be on the boards this week! He said “Cheers for missing me.” I’m thinking cheers is a Highlander word. Also wherabouts and hiya may be Highlander words. [Cheers is British, but I know someone who says hiya to me and she’s American lol.] There are other Scottish people there, but not from the Highlands. I hope Lianachan will be on the boards today so I can talk to him!

I would like to be remembered instead of being great and then forgotten cause I want to be remembered. I have to finish my history project. That’s what I was doing all day after school yesterday. I also went to IMDb too. Lianachan was there! I sent him a Private Message (PM) and I said I hope he was healing well and I might be going to the Highlands. I didn’t know if he was going to PM me back, but he did! He said he was healing well and to tell him what things I wanted to see or do in the Highlands so he could make recomendations for me! I did but I didn’t get his answer last night. Did you know Lian is an adult? Yep, adults do go there, [why wouldn’t they?] and some are regulars! I used to think Lian was a girl, cause his name sounded femanine [really? That’s definitely masculine lol] and he just reminded me of a girl until someone told me he was a boy. His name still sounds femanine, though. ShallHonorArise was there too, and he sent me some PMs. SHA is also a boy, but I already knew that. Lian and SHA are my 2 fave people on IMDb (Internet Movie Database)
I think the words Scotland and Highland are attracted to me! [I just notice them more when I get interested in things lol.] I walk into where the TV was on, it said in writing Highland something, the second I turn the TV on it said Highlands, flipping through channels, the TV show Highlander was on, drive through Highland Village, Highland is everywhere, walk up to a table, there’s a movie on Scotland, watch We Were Soldiers, said Highlands 2 times…well, I hope I get to go to the Scottish Highlands!

Red makes me feel mad, yellow makes me feel bright, green makes me feel tropical, orange makes me feel warm, blue makes me feel sad, and black makes me feel scared. Oh, I though[t] of another for green - it makes me feel like I’m in the lush, green hills of the Highlands (even though I’ve never been there, I’m allowed to imagine, right?)
I can’t wait for school to get out so I can go on the Internet and watch the movie Highlander! Before I went to this school, I went to McKamy. There are a lot of good memorys and memorys of good times there. My fave teacher ever there was Mrs. Hariss, one of the library teachers. She is so nice and I visit her often. The best part of the school is the courtyard where we went out to lunch every day since 6th grade. [After we were done eating, they let us go out there for 5 or 10 minutes, unless it was rainy or cold.] I got obsessed with the courtyard. *Blush* I had to go to math tutoring every day except Friday, but if I didn’t or was in a meeting or I finished, I waited in the courtyard for my parents to pick me up. I also collected stuff that people left behind and called it “Courtyard Materiel.” [LOL] Yep, those were good times!

Today's trivia: The U.S. Air Force introduced Bob Ross to painting. While rising to the rank of Master Sergeant, Ross was also able to take a painting class, and he was inspired by the scenery in Alaska where he was stationed (he was stationed in Alaska?!? No way!)

I would like to be remembered instead of being great and then forgotten cause I want to be remembered. I have to finish my history project. That’s what I was doing all day after school yesterday. I also went to IMDb too. Lianachan was there! I sent him a Private Message (PM) and I said I hope he was healing well and I might be going to the Highlands. I didn’t know if he was going to PM me back, but he did! He said he was healing well and to tell him what things I wanted to see or do in the Highlands so he could make recomendations for me! I did but I didn’t get his answer last night. Did you know Lian is an adult? Yep, adults do go there, [why wouldn’t they?] and some are regulars! I used to think Lian was a girl, cause his name sounded femanine [really? That’s definitely masculine lol] and he just reminded me of a girl until someone told me he was a boy. His name still sounds femanine, though. ShallHonorArise was there too, and he sent me some PMs. SHA is also a boy, but I already knew that. Lian and SHA are my 2 fave people on IMDb (Internet Movie Database)
I think the words Scotland and Highland are attracted to me! [I just notice them more when I get interested in things lol.] I walk into where the TV was on, it said in writing Highland something, the second I turn the TV on it said Highlands, flipping through channels, the TV show Highlander was on, drive through Highland Village, Highland is everywhere, walk up to a table, there’s a movie on Scotland, watch We Were Soldiers, said Highlands 2 times…well, I hope I get to go to the Scottish Highlands!

Red makes me feel mad, yellow makes me feel bright, green makes me feel tropical, orange makes me feel warm, blue makes me feel sad, and black makes me feel scared. Oh, I though[t] of another for green - it makes me feel like I’m in the lush, green hills of the Highlands (even though I’ve never been there, I’m allowed to imagine, right?)
I can’t wait for school to get out so I can go on the Internet and watch the movie Highlander! Before I went to this school, I went to McKamy. There are a lot of good memorys and memorys of good times there. My fave teacher ever there was Mrs. Hariss, one of the library teachers. She is so nice and I visit her often. The best part of the school is the courtyard where we went out to lunch every day since 6th grade. [After we were done eating, they let us go out there for 5 or 10 minutes, unless it was rainy or cold.] I got obsessed with the courtyard. *Blush* I had to go to math tutoring every day except Friday, but if I didn’t or was in a meeting or I finished, I waited in the courtyard for my parents to pick me up. I also collected stuff that people left behind and called it “Courtyard Materiel.” [LOL] Yep, those were good times!

25. How old were you when you met your first love? In 9th grade I felt like I "loved" someone, if that counts :P
26. Were your college years the best years of your life? I only took a few classes, it was alright
Today's trivia: The U.S. Air Force introduced Bob Ross to painting. While rising to the rank of Master Sergeant, Ross was also able to take a painting class, and he was inspired by the scenery in Alaska where he was stationed (he was stationed in Alaska?!? No way!)
