glacier_kitty1. What sign marks the end of the summer for you? The trees changing colors, it getting cooler, etc
2. What plans, if any, do you have for the rest of the summer? I'm going to Valdez at the end of the month, YAY!!! I haven't been there since 2016!! Jo has never been on a glacier cruise, so I'm excited for him to see the awesomeness of everything haha. Mom thought about going to Juneau to visit her friend, but I'm not sure if that'll happen. And the fair in August, yay!
3. How would you describe your summer so far – too hot, too cold, too wet, too buggy or what? It's actually been pretty hot, with rain here and there. Not a ton of bugs, unless you go into the woods or something..
4. Summer often means open windows and the sharing of conversations, music, games and so forth with everyone. What sort of neighbor are you? Loud or considerate? Very considerate..I try to make the least amount of noise possible, and cringe SO hard when I drop something haha
5. Aside from spouses and pets, have you had any trouble with pests recently? LOL not really :P
It's really weird how quiet Pretty Kitty is..I'm used to Abby yelling at me haha

Good afternoon, Palmy! We are going to San Francisco! We will stay at Marriott! I wanted to stay at Courtyard Marriott, but there were no rooms avalable and we wanted to stay at Fisherman's Wharf. Marriott is ok, too! I'll write you later, Palmy! Hi again I'm in my fancy hotel room! Our view looks out over the courtyard on the roof!! Cool!! After we settled in, we walked to Fisherman's Wharf to eat at Hard Rock Cafe. Their food was yummy! After that, we walked over to Ghirardelli Square. We saw the fountain courtyard and the original chocolate factory. We are probably going back tomorrow because we harldly stayed there. Then we went to Lombard Street, "the Crookedest Street in the World." We will drive down it tomorrow. Then we went back to the hotel. Well, goodnight, Palmy!

Sorry I didn't say goodnight to you. Good morning! We did so much stuff yesterday I didn't have time! Well, after we had breakfast (yum), we walked to get a cable car ride. I got a picture with a nice lady. The cable car took us up Hyde Street first. That was the street we walked up the night before to get to Lombard Street! It is VERY steep! Then it took us past Lombard St and past a part of Chinatown. We also saw the Transamerica Pyramid. It also took us past Union Square. The column with the statue on top in the middle of the square sort of resembles Trafalgar Square. The last stop it made was downtown. There were 2 famous hotels there. Then we rode it back to Fisherman's Wharf. Did you know that buildings above 5 storys aren't allowed on Fisherman's Wharf?
Then we went to Ghirardelli Square again (pronounced GEAR A DELLI). Ryan bought 10 chocolate bars! [LOL yes, that definitely sounds like Ryan. :P] We had hot chocolate. Ghirardelli Square has a courtyard with a fountain in the middle. I bought a shirt there [I still wear it!] and mom bought some gloves because my hands were cold. Then we checked out of the hotel. The person that was on the cable car was also there checking out!! Weird!! Then we drove down Lombard St. That was fun! Then we drove across the Golden Gate Bridge! Cool! When we got to the other side we took some pictures. We walked to the first tower then we walked back to the car and drove speedy-fast to the 1:45 boat cruse. We got there just in time! If we had got there a second later, we wouldn't have made it! It went under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz. The buildings on Alcatraz looked rusty. Did you know that the lighthouse on Alcatraz was the first in California? Did you know that the pointy top of the Transamerica Pyramid is hollow? The Golden Gate Bridge is 1 mile long and the Oakland Bay Bridge is 8 miles long. Then, we drove to Coit Tower. It is in the shape of a firehose because it is a memorial to a firefighter. We had to climb lots of stairs! There was AWESOME views! I saw Ghirardelli Square. Then we flew home. Well, good afternoon, Palmy!
