Friday five
Apr. 9th, 2021 06:28 pm1. What tool did you most recently purchase, and what tool will you purchase next? Uhh..I don't know, I don't buy tools lol
2. What toy did you most recently purchase, and what toy will you purchase next? Maybe a stuffed animal..
3. What staple did you most recently purchase, and what staple will you purchase next? Food and probably food lol
4. What did you most recently purchase to give away, and what will you next purchase to give away? Not sure..
5. What are you most recently glad you did not purchase after consideration? A bunch of unhealthy snacks haha
I finally went to that antique store Ryan and Jo told me about (they got an Amundsen plate there for me after my surgery), and amazingly, that Northwest Passage game was still there! I hope it'll be fun lol. I also found a really cool original map from a reconnaissance of the McKinley area in 1902! There was another cool map of the routes the arctic explorers took, but I had spent enough money..if I can't stop thinking about it I might have to go back someday and get it :P

Cooool!
I get my second covid vaccine tomorrow! I hope it won't be too bad..Denise was fine after hers, but I've heard other people say they got pretty sick and stayed in bed for like 15 hours. It'll be cool to join the Fully Vaccinated Club haha
It's supposed to be -20 to -30 tonight..ugh. Next week it'll *finally* get into the 40s though, yay! Winter has stayed long enough :P
6. Have you ever been lost in your own neighborhood? Sure, when I wasn't familiar with it yet
7. Do you like any board games or card games? Yeah, lately I've been playing Betrayal at House on the Hill with Ryan and Jo and mom (and sometimes Jo's friends). It's really fun! You "discover" new rooms and a whole bunch of other things, and eventually one person becomes the "traitor," which starts the Haunt..the traitor has to defeat the other players, who have conferred with the game book to try and build a strategy to defeat the traitor (who goes into another room and reads their part of the game book). There are 50 Haunts, so there's a lot to explore in the game! I've won both times that I've been the traitor lol. It's definitely a unique, fun game!
8. What is the last thing you watched on TV? Cold Pursuit
9. How often do you get hiccups? I haven't gotten them in a long time..
