glacier_kittyI had my post-op appointment with Jennifer today, and she said I'm the "poster child" for healing well and fast, and not bleeding much during the surgery..I'm definitely surprised at how fast I've healed. She also said I can go back to work tomorrow, as long as I don't lift anything heavy and can sit if I get tired..yay! I'll start with a half day and see how I do, but hopefully it won't be too bad. Jennifer also took a picture when she was done!
On the left is my cervix (bottom), uterus and fallopian tubes, and on the right is the fibroid..OMG that is horrifying!!! D: Jennifer said the fibroid was "using my bladder as a pillow." Yeah, no kidding..no wonder I was so uncomfortable! I also had a cyst, which is the round thing by the fallopian tube on the right in the picture, but left in reality..no wonder my left side hurt so much. Yeah, it was *definitely* time for that thing to come out lol
I'll have another appointment in four weeks, where Jennifer will do a physical to see how I've healed, and then hopefully I'll be good! So glad most of this is behind me now lol
27. Punch the Clock Day: When you wake up to an alarm, does it make you want to destroy your clock? Haha I don't think so, but it does make me groan :P
