Your favorite sport to play. I don't play any, but I LOVED fencing when I was in high school
Who was your favorite professor in college? Maybe the ones for the Glaciers, Earthquakes and volcanoes class..that class was so much fun LOL
Have you ever traveled alone? Yeah..it's honestly rather lonely. I'd much rather share the experience with someone!
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received? Hmmm..I'm not sure..
The worst meal you’ve ever cooked. One time I put a cup of pepper in a dish because I didn't know how to read the recipe, and mom had to go all the way back to the store so I could redo it LOL
Your feelings about the dentist. It's not the greatest thing, but I have a good dentist (they're Kathy's husband and son, so I trust them), which does help. I was TERRIFIED as a kid though..so much so that one time they had to give me "laughing gas" to make me groggy so I could stop freaking out lol. I always thought they were going to operate on me for some reason :P
What do you know about your father’s parents? His father, John, died when I was little, so pretty much the only memory I have of him is seeing his dead body at his funeral (mom said she was sorry for carrying me over there and scarring me for life LOL). I think he liked to play tennis, but I don't really know anything else. His mom, Jeanne, lived in California until her death in 2012. I loved visiting her when I was a kid..she always told fun stories, like the earthquake that shook her house so much that a door was moving back and forth. I think she was a teacher for special ed. kids, which is cool. One time I was watching LOTR with her and she saw an Orc and said something like "well you're lovely, honey!" LOLOL. I feel guilty for not visiting her after moving to Alaska, though I did get to talk to her on the phone. She was pretty sick when she died, so hopefully she's in a better place now
A time you narrowly escaped. When I was choking when I was home alone..one of the scariest moments of my life. I thought I was going to die. I grabbed my keys and knocked on my neighbor's door, but then somehow the blockage cleared and I could breathe again. She was glad I was ok! The second time I was at a restaurant, and mom had to do the Heimlich maneuver on me. D: I get very uncomfortable talking about this..so scary! *shudders* Ever since then, I've had to eat more slowly (if I forget, I'll start half-choking D:)..annoying and kind of embarrassing, but nothing I can do about it
The worst date you’ve ever been on. I've never really been on a "true" date..
Do you have a favorite National or State Park? Denali! Glacier Bay!! Wrangell-St. Elias! We have awesome national parks lol
A time you did service. When I was in Girl Scouts we volunteered at the Special Olympics, which was cool :)
Your favorite place to visit in the fall. The Parks and Richardson Highways are AMAZING in the fall..the colors are so vibrant against the mountains! Maine in the fall is pretty nice too

What makes you nervous? Public speaking, talking on the phone, etc
Your oldest friend. I'm Facebook friends with Meghan, whom I knew as a baby! It was REALLY weird when she had a kid of her own haha! She looks just like her mom too!
A time when someone helped you. I had to have a LOT of math tutoring to pass the TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills), which I failed twice. I never could have done it without their help. I almost cried when they told me I finally passed haha..thanks guys!
Something you never want to own. A hairless cat. O_o I want soft fur on my cats!! Haha
The first time you fell in love. I was pretty convinced I was in love with Nick, who I went to school with in 9th grade. He was SO nice, honorable, encouraging, and stood up for you. One time someone was making a blonde joke and he pointed to me and was like "you know she can hear you right?" Another time we were doing crunches and he was holding my feet down..when he saw I was getting tired, he was like, "you can do it, keep going!" Yeah, that absolutely helped LOL. Oh man, this is making me teary-eyed! He was such a great guy..I think I'll always have some sort of feelings for him. I've tried many times over the years on Google to try and find him, but I never do..it's like he disappeared! If I could find someone who is a mix of Cherry and Nick, that would be great LOL
Your favorite sounds. A purring cat, a glacier calving, thunderstorms, epic music, etc
The hardest loss you’ve ever had. I had a nice friend named Pat who used to live down the hall from me..she was in her 70s, but dressed like a teenager haha. I was very sad when she died. It was also hard losing Snowy, a cat I had for 20 years. Death is hard and sad :(
How are you similar to your siblings? We have blonde hair and blue eyes. Ryan's pretty different than me though lol

Coolest thing ever!!! Haha (he emailed everyone questions and made these and posted them on a bulletin board for awhile, and now they're getting posted on Facebook)
