DIE HURRICANE RITA!!!

I never thought that I would ever have to worry about hurricanes living here in Texas. Now this weekend Rita is traveling up here as a category 1 hurricane or strong tropical storm. This hurricane is the third strongest ever recorded and the low pressure in the hurricane is the lowest ever recorded...that's scary...It'll destroy Galveston...*sobs* Here we just have to worry about flooding and tornadoes. I don't desire to be in a tornado, or to have my house destroyed by one. I just heard it's going more and more east...I hope so...STAY AWAY FROM ME, RITA! I hope we just get some rain or something...

Latin club initiaton is Saturday...I hope it's not canceled

My Latin project is due tomorrow...hope he likes my project...

You know what's funny? My Spanish teacher's first name is Rita, so the other teachers were teasing her about causing problems in Texas.

I hope it doesn't hit your town. I have a friend named Derek who lives on the east coast of Texas. He's currently staying at a friends house because he had to evacuate his town :(
