Raaaage of the storm

glacier_kittyYesterday I talked to Amanda and I felt much better after. I wish we coulda talked more but the power went out. But yeah, it felt good to talk about it
While I was talking to Amanda I heard thunder but thought it was gonna be some short storm so I didn't bother getting off. The thunder was getting louder and my brother and mom came in soaked (they were playing tennis but had to leave my dad cause he had scooters and didn't wanna get them wet). Then the power went out and I'm lucky my computer didn't get fried. I then watched one of the most intense storms I've ever seen. The wind was very strong and uprooted one of our Bradford pear trees. I went out on the balcony and this bright bolt of lightning touched the ground and whenever I blinked I saw it. The news said there was over 100 cloud to ground lightning strikes in 30 minutes! Then I thought the storm was over I went outside and looked at the sky and suddenly this HUGE bolt of lightning struck near and VERY loud thunder sounded at almost the same time and I ran inside screaming and I was shaking. My mom finally "rescued" my dad and everything was ok! Scary, no?
And I know exactly what the dream I had last night was telling me...I wanted to go to Italy so my mom gave me and my brother tickets and walked to the gate but realized we left someone who was coming with us...the gate agents said the plane was about to leave so we raced back and found the other person then raced back to the gate but the plane was already gone...thanks for telling me I can't go to Italy right now...I'm quite aware
