My dad would love my post WW2 class. My dad loves to watch shows on wars on the History Channel...we learned about the atomic bomb today. We watched a movie on it...it was very interesting...the poor cities in Japan...almost totally destroyed and TONS of people died...it amazed me watching that

And we're learning tons of cool things in Latin...I have a quiz tomorrow. And I'm gonna join Latin club...the first meeting is next Thursday. I wanted to before but the teacher described some of the things we get to do and it sounds SO fun!! He said we'd walk around school wearing togas saying random Latin phrases to people...OMG that sounds fun! And now I'm seeing Latin related phrases in words like my mom said I would (Amanda just typed 'ect'...ect cetera *feels dorky*)

When I look at my friends page and see someone else gushing about Latin, I a warm gushy feeling. ^_^ But I'm jealous - since I wasn't able to take it until college, I never got to walk around school wearing a toga, but there are a few of us in my class considering wearing them to our final just to say we did.

Haha I like it when you gush about Latin too. I wore a toga once in 6th grade for a project...it was veeery fun

I feel like I shouldn't graduate from OSU without ever attending a toga party, so I figure wearing one to Latin class with a few friends and watching "I, Claudius" afterwards should count. This will be my first time! *sniffle*

My only real exposure to anything written in Latin was that song I sent you an MP3 of, Sear Me. *sigh* I wonder how you say "I wish I could go back and change these years" in Latin?
