Tra-la-laaa!
Jun. 4th, 2017 03:14 pmToday me and Denise and Paulette saw Captain Underpants (maturity? What's that? LOL). It was entertaining and hilarious, and I think we enjoyed it more than the kids haha (adult humor ftw!). Super fun, we should see more movies together :D
We indeed had rabbit for dinner last night..I didn't really like it, but I guess I can now say I've tried rabbit stew. :P So nice of Greyboy to catch dinner for us LOL
I don't have a picture yet for today's topic (climbing plants, I think there's some at work I can get tomorrow), but I have something amazing to share. Yesterday on YouTube I found a channel of this guy that travels around visiting kids with disabilities. He is incredible and amazing..he KNOWS they understand him, even if they have trouble showing it, and he treats them like everyone should, like a human. You can tell the kids LOVE him, and they tell him so in their own way, like bumping heads with him or even just staring into his eyes. I have to share a some here
"You are really smart and you can do a lot of cool stuff with autism"
"Autism is a good thing because it makes you special"
Heck yeah!! You rock! I'm glad I'm not the only one proud to have autism :D
Omg this makes me tear up..that man is amazing!!! There needs to be more people like him in the world <3
Oh wow. He is incredible! How is he even real?? Haha
When I was in high school, one of my classes was gym with the special ed kids to play with them and stuff..my partner was Crystal, who had a condition like this. She couldn't talk or do much of anything..but she could communicate with her eyes, like the girl in this video (I don't think she had a device that I know of though). She LOVED being read to, and every time she saw me with a book her eyes got SO wide and you could just tell she was super excited. One of her teachers held up a different food choice in each hand, and she stared intently at the one she wanted (she especially loved Mexican food lol). She was amazing and someone I will never forget <3
D'awwwwwww! Omg they are adorable <3
Aw yeah, she got STYLE! Haha
"We all need a little human touch sometimes. I know everyone communicates in their own way. And all these ways we communicate, they are all valid." Omg..all these videos touch me, but this seems to be on a whole other level. Wow. He is amazing
Hehe, I'm looking for long hair on guys too. ;) Her personality is great lol (and wow, those are the thickest glasses I've ever seen! Haha). Guess I'll stop now, but there are so many other great ones to watch. He rocks and I hope he continues touching many more lives positively <3
