Italy wasn't very shiny before WW2...
Aug. 12th, 2005 04:34 pmIn post WW2 class we learned the 3 major countries that contriubuted the most to the start of WW2 (Germany, Japan, Italy). Then we had to get into groups and design a political cartoon for one of these countries...I sooo wanted Italy, but we got Germany. Another person in our group wanted Italy also cause she's obsessed too! The other person has been to Italy...lucky her...I'm really enjoying that class (there's a German exchange student in there!), and Latin. And I'm taking Latin 2 next semester so I get to see my teacher's Italy map all year long, YAY!
YAY I finally know what "et spiritu sancti" means! I just looked it up...it means, "the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit"...that's what I thought it ment...I swear like every single medieval movie I watch says that
And here's a survey thingy I found in Amanda's LJ, and pictures of my trip!
What are five snacks I enjoy? Popcorn, cookies...lum
Name five bands or artists whose lyrics I know (or mostly know): Rhapsody, Luca Turilli, HammerFall, Evanescence, Nightwish
Name five things I'd do with $100 million. Buy a house in Italy, donate some, use some to meet Rhapsody, put some in the bank, give it to friends and family
Name five locations I'd run away to. Italy, Scotland, Ireland, England, Wisconsin
Name five bad habits. Playing with my ring, OCD stuff, rubbing my fingers together, playing with things, worrying
Name five things I like doing. Music, Internet, traveling, talking with friends, listening to someone speak Italian (or their accent)
Name five things I'd never wear. Make up, miniskirts, anything pink, tight shirts, shirts with lotsa cleavage
Name five television shows I like. House, ER, Fear Factor, King of the Hill, Everybody Loves Raymond (cause he's Italian, yeah!)
Name five movies I like. POTO, LOTR, Kingdom of Heaven, Braveheart, Rocco and His Brothers
Name five people I'd like to meet, alive or dead. Luca Turilli, Fabio Lione, William Wallace, Freddie Mercury, Alexander the Great
Name my five favorite toys. Plastic swords...yes-a...REAL SWORDS...PLASTIC LIGHTSABERS, plastic daggers, my fencing sword
