Ayreon: An interesting metal band. Some of their songs are really nice to listen to, like "My House on Mars" (that would have been a cool song to have had in The Martian lol). It's cool they have lots of guest musicians on their albums too!
Bridges: There's something fascinating about bridges to me..they just look so cool spanning a body of water. It's nice to stand on a bridge and watch the water flow by
Church bells: They are so pretty to listen to! I'm always fascinated when I go to Europe and hear them ringing all the time lol
Edvard Grieg: A great classical composer. In the Hall of the Mountain King is one of my favorite classical songs!
Fairbanks: The lovely town in live in! Everyone is so nice..maybe the cold long winters brings us together lol
Glaciology: I love glaciers..it's so interesting to learn how a glacier works and how you can tell where glaciers used to be and stuff
Hawaii: A cool and interesting place to visit, especially in the middle of winter lol. Everything there is unique and beautiful..I love seeing the volcanoes too!
Luka Kovac: One of my favorite characters from the TV show ER. He was compassionate and caring, plus he was pretty good looking :P (one time I watched an interview with Goran Visnjic and was completely surprised he didn't actually have much of a Croatian accent haha!)
Movie soundtracks: The soundtrack to a movie can be one of my favorite things about a movie..like Interstellar..the music just made it that much more epic! I get disappointed when a movie I like doesn't have a good soundtrack lol
Piccadilly Circus: One of my favorite places in London..I was so obsessed with it as a kid haha. It's not an actual circus, it's an intersection of streets with a statue and neon lights..there's always a ton of people there lol. Plus, "Piccadilly" is a fun word lol
Road trips: It's fun to travel and see the sights along the way..you get a different perspective than from a plane (though scenery from a plane is amazing too). I love bonding with mom and going out to eat lol
Surveys: I love filling things out lol..always have for some reason. :P It's a good way to pass the time learn something new about people
The Chronicles of Narnia: One of my favorite fantasy series (except for the ending..really??). They're such great stories..I really wish they had continued with the movies!
Traveling: I love seeing new (and places I love) places and experiencing new cultures and stuff. It's nice to leave most of your responsibilities behind and relax lol
Wisconsin: One of my favorite states..it's so beautiful! (And you can see a lot of landforms made by glaciers lol)

Date: 2015-11-24 10:24 pm (UTC)Another common tie that's coming up between us is Wisconsin!! Now Matt's sister Liz, her husband, and Matt's niece Lenora just moved to Milwaukee from Cincinnati back in September... I am sure that Matt and I will be visiting them sometime in the spring! I'm excited, I've never been to Wisconsin before :)
