A strong upper level disturbance combined with a eastward moving weather front will bring the first significant snowfall of the winter season to the central interior and middle Tanana Valley. Snowfall amounts of 2 to 5 inches are expected late tonight through Friday. Most of the snow is expected to occur late tonight and Friday morning. The largest snow amounts are expected to occur over higher elevations. The snow may become mixed with rain at lower elevations Friday afternoon. Additionally... west winds gusting to 30 to 40 mph are expected to develop over higher summits around mid day Friday and continue through Friday night. West winds 20 to 30 mph are expected at lower elevations Friday afternoon and Friday night. The gusty winds may produce poor visibility with drifting and blowing snow over higher summits. The snowfall will likely produce slippery roads and hazardous driving conditions. Gusty winds may down some trees and cause power outages. People planning or involved in outdoor activity should be prepared for snowy and windy conditions with temperatures near freezing.

Ugh..I guess it'll turn to winter overnight. It might be interesting waking up tomorrow lol. Today has been nice and sunny..I wish it could stay that way!
