Tuesday we drove to Valdiz..we stopped at places along the way. You could also see the pipeline when it was above ground stretching into the distance (wowww). We first stopped at the city of North Pole (really :P haha). Some of the streetlights were candy canes and the streets were named Christmas themes. We went to this Christmas store that's open all year haha. We stopped at gift shops too. I played that Jewel Quest III game on mom's computer practically the whole way :P It also rained the whole way. We got to Valdez, ate dinner at the hotel and walked around. We went to bed...omg Brenda is the loudest snorer ever. Mom and I hardly got any sleep. The next day (yesterday) we went on a "cruise" for wildlife and a glacier in Prince William Sound. The captain (also our tour guide) built the boat we went on..he put Oriental rugs in it hehe. We saw humpback whales, killer whales, sea otters (awww), sea lions, birds, jellyfish. The captain had something that could pick up the killer whales talking to each other and so we got to hear them! Woww (they're squeaky haha). We went as close as we could to the glacier..it got colddd over there. There were a bunch of icebergs blocking our way to the glacier though. There was one across from where I was..there was a big round chunk of ice sitting on another and I was like "this ice should totally fall in front of us" and mom said it could cause it was cracked..the boat moved off a little ways..and the ice fell! The iceberg rolled but not all the way over..neat! The captain also said there were a bunch of other ice ages and before them there was global warming..so apparently it's not totally our fault. As we were going back to port there was a killer whale couple hunting fish in the sunset (how romantic haha). Killer whales also like to surf and did so on the wake of the boat. What an experience haha. Then we went to the hotel and went to bed. Today we drove home. We stopped at someone's house cause they sell pottery and there was a cat! I pet it and scratched it and it purred like crazy hehe. Yay friendly kitty :D Brenda actually has to leave today (well..technically tomorrow) on a 1 something AM flight. Awww..she's planning to come back though. Pictures tomorrow!
