I got a new CD player yesterday. It's blue and shiny. My other one skipped at it was SO ANNOYING! I was listening to Phantom..."down *skip* on*skip*ce more *skip*..." AHHHH! This new one has a remote and stuff...YAY!!

OMG there's this absolutely hilarious post on the Phantom board om IMDb called "You know you're obsessed when..." Some of the answers are insanely obsessive and some apply to me. I'm gonna post here the ones that apply to me...(this'll take awhile)


*You use quotes in everyday life
*Eric is not correct. it must be spelt with a K
*You convince people on a regular basis that they should see the movie.
*You frequent the IMDb message boards.
*You used to hate opera, and are now in love with it because of POTO.
*You start singing and/or humming out of the blue -really loud

*You know your obsessed w/ POTO when you want to see every chandelier crash to the floor (OMG whenever i see a chandilier i see it falling)
*you're always humming the lyrics
u now have developed a thing for gerard butler
*You wonder what Erik would say to a therapist
*when ever you hear 666, you start whispering the prologue
*you go on the message board on your lunch break
*You start reading and writing fan fiction
Despite the fact that you've listened to the soundtrack 55 trillion times, you still jump when the overture starts
*You have the sudden urge to see the movie after you just listened to the track... 10 times through ... in a row*
*You plan on seeing the movie more than 10 times* (not in theaters, of course)
*Have read through more than 5 different imdb board topics for phantom*

*Ya freak out everytime ya hear an organ
*Ya write about seeing an opera with the Phantom and your friends
*Ya are obsessed with the words 'phantom' and 'opera'
*When you're alone (or not), you always sing "TAAAA!!!! TA-TA-TA-TA-TAAAAA!!! TA-TA-TA-TA-TAAAAA!!!"
playing the organ suddenly intrests you.
*You had never been interested in POTO before seeing the trailer at the beginning of Alexander
You don't feel complete when you get to school until you log on to the IMDb message board for Phantom
*You write Phantom fan fiction.
*When "The Phantom of the Opera is there, inside my mind" becomes an all out true statement.
*You have to physically restrain yourself from singing in the theatre
*When you are singing Prima Donna you take a deep breath right along with your CD
*Start to have withdrawls if you have not seen the movie in at least two days
*you experience withdrawal symptoms when you haven't seen it for a week. (like intense longing and the need to plan a trip to the movie even if you have to go alone. After seeing it, you think it will be the last time until the DVD comes out, but then the urge returns)
- even when you don't hear the music, it is constantly in your head - the Phantom of the Opera is on your mind
You want an organ player in your room.

- No matter where you are or what you're doing, SOME Phantom song is going through your head.

I need help, I am an obsessed phan.

"You seriously consider taking up opera" Yes I did right after I saw the show.

"You have to physically restrain yourself from singing in the theatre " My mom gives me a pep-talk before we see it live.

When you're alone (or not), you always sing "TAAAA!!!! TA-TA-TA-TA-TAAAAA!!! TA-TA-TA-TA-TAAAAA!!!" *sigh* umm, it's true.

Somethings to add:

During the holidays when you were writing Christmas, you accidently wrote "Christine"

Or when writing a word that begins with a "ph" you automatically write "phantom" example: instead of writing "phone" you write "phantom"

Or you change words that begin with "f" to "ph"

If you name a pet or child after one of the characters. My cat is named Christine. hehe ^_^
