Music:"Crimson Thunder"-HammerFall
Yup, I got "One Crimson Night"-the CD recorded live! I'll tell ya about the songs.
*-On "Legacy of Kings album, **-On "Crimson Thunder" album, ***-never heard before
**"Lore of the Arcane"-the creepyest song ever recorded live. Weird on the regular CD, CREEPY recorded live!
**"Riders of the Storm"-Really pretty recorded live. Don't really like it on the reg CD. But, WOW Joacim Cans has a great voice!
*"Heeding the Call"-great song played live! Really good either way.
***"Stone Cold"-Don't really like that much. I haven't heard the real version, so dunno about it yet.
**"Hero's Return"-don't like it played live. He says "let the infidels burn" in the weirdest way. *So* much better on the reg CD.
*"Legacy of Kings"-ok played live. When they say "legacy of kings" and then it echoes, that's creepy. Reg version is better.
***Bass solo:Magnus Rosen-does nothin' for me
*"At the End of the Rainbow"-Pretty no matter how it's played
***"The Way of the Warrior"-I love this song! Would like to hear the reg version. Great beat!
**"The Unforgiving Blade"-Absolutely LOVE this song, no matter how it's played. But when they say "and as your world's falling down" and they echo "falling" that's creepy!
***"Glory to the Brave"-Pretty song! Need to hear the reg version
***Guitar solo:Stefan Elmgren-does nothin'for me
*"Let the Hammer Fall"-WOW, the audience got into this song. This song makes me think HF's obsessed with their name.
***"Renegade"-I also love this song! When they say "renegade" then pause before saying it again, and the way they say it, it's pretty cool! Would like to hear the reg version
***"Steel Meets Steel"-I love the begining! It has a great beat. When they say "steel meets steel" it's kinda creepy, but cool. One time Joacim was singing that and then he went "yeah!" You just wanna go "yeah!" too. Would like to hear the reg version.

***"Templars of Steel"-another thing their obsessed with-templars and hammers, lol. The beginning is cool, but I don't really like the vrest of the song. Still, I would like to hear the Reg version
**"Hearts on Fire"-my brother messed this song up for me by, saying "balls on fire, burning, burning with desire." (It's hearts on fire, burning, burning with desire.) Now I can't listen to it w/o hearing that. But I love the line that I'm gonna put at the end of the post. (be patient, lol!)
***"HammerFall"-Yep, they're obsessed w/their name. I think they sing about themselves. ("HammerFall, we will prevail.) I heard HF thinks themselves as the Knights of the Hammer, but not in a weird way. (But in an obsessive way!)
***"The Dragon Lies Bleeding"-Great battle song, and very nice. Jocaicm can make such nice songs without screaming. Not once, in any of his songs does he scream. (Hansi Kurich from Blind Guardian sometimes does.) See, you can make good music without screaming! Go Joacim! *Must* hear the reg version of this song!
*"Stronger than All"-Pretty cool song played live. When Joacim says "like an arrow of might" and then it echos "stronger than all!" it's kinda creepy. All the echoes are creepy! Dunno why. (But nothing can be more creepy than "Lore of the Arcane.")
***"A Legend Reborn"-An ok song. Would like to hear the reg version

I nearly fainted with joy when they played that before the guys came out on stage. I guess I don't find it creepy because I associate it with such an awesome experience. ;)
If you want to hear The Dragon Lies Bleeding studio version, you need to grab the Glory to the Brave album. It's HF's first album, so it's a bit rough and not as clean as the later albums (including their second, Legacy of Kings) However, they're all in their 20's, and it's got the very origional lineup! It's my least favorite album out of the four studio albums, but that doesn't mean I hate it. I love it alot, just not as much as the others. ;)
