Yesterday before I left Dana and I went to IHOP. Her cat said bye to me by mauling my finger and making it bleed like crazy. :P She drove me to the airport, said goodbye (luckily it wasn't a long, awkward and painful goodbye haha) and I checked in and waited for my flight. I almost missed it! That part of the terminal was CRAZY..they were announcing like 3 or 4 flights at once and I never heard them announce mine. A lady went up and asked if it was the Seattle flight and the gate agent said yes! I would have missed it if it hadn't been for her! I was looking for Catalina Island after we took off even though I figured I was on the wrong side. Well suddenly I look down and there it was!! We flew right over the top of it! I saw the airport landing strip that my uncle flew dad and I to some years back. I was hard to get a picture but I managed to get one of Avalon! That made me SO happy haha. I always loved looking for and seeing Catalina Island from the plane as a kid. The flight was 2 or 3 hours I think
We landed in Seattle and I saw the gate I arrived at was the same one I was departing from (or so I thought :P). So I was like..cool! I had plenty of time till my next flight so I had an early dinner and sat at my gate reading. I was wondering why it was so deserted. The gate agent eventually asked me "aren't you gonna go on your flight?" (I had talked to her earlier) and I was like "huh?" and she told me it had moved to another gate and terminal! I had to take a train thingy to get there. Luckily I still had time and I got there fine. *phew* Haha. We boarded and I was annoyed at myself cause I chose a seat at the left side of the plane and I thought the glaciers were at the right side. And plus there was a SCREAMING, crying, very talkative baby and a squirming talkative kid next to me that smelled like poop so I was like ASDFGHJKLTYFDFYU. And we had to wait at the gate for awhile cause they had to confirm people's pets or something. I was SO relieved when we took off haha. It was REALLY dark outside and couldn't see anything besides city lights and a little of the landforms they illuminated so I wouldn't have been able to see any glaciers anyway. Too bad since it was supposed to be clear. I bet if the bright full moon was out I would have been able to see something. I was going CRAZY at the end of the flight cause of the stupid kids! It was quite possibly one of the most painful flights I've ever been on. Ugh. Mom picked me up (it was -7 outside haha) and drove me home. I was supposed to work today but mom let me sleep in and had to take Ryan to the hospital cause he was having heart problems. Eep..I hope he's ok
