glacier_kittyI went to the fair yesterday..it wasn't freezing (well it was chilly if you didn't have a sweater on), raining and the smoke cleared up a LOT. There were a bunch of animals..like guinea pigs, rabbits with majorly cute babies, goats, etc. We rode the Ferris wheel..which may not have been worth it (except to find out it wasn't worth it haha) cause like all you saw was the fairgrounds and the smoky hills. Maybe you'd see the mountains if it was sunny? It may not have been in the right place though. And it went around like..4 times? Oh well. :P We got food (Dippin Dots yessss), looked around..the cartoonist Chad Carpenter was there again. The Literacy Council (the bookstore I work at is part of it) was there and I eventually found them..I didn't know either of the people sitting at the table but there was a chalkboard you could write on and I wrote "Heather M was here." Hopefully the people I know will see it if they don't erase it haha
Mom is flying to Wisconsin to visit grandma and co. for a few days..

Date: 2009-08-09 04:41 pm (UTC)Aww the fair sounds nice, even if the Ferris wheel wasn't worth it haha. Perhaps it would have been better if it was clearer. The animals sound so cute! I think our local fair is coming up in a couple of weeks (the 4-H Fair) and they always have awesome animals and very cute baby chicks!
