B is for Breakfast: Do you eat breakfast? What do you usually have? Sometimes..toast, scrambled eggs, an egg sandwich, etc
C is for Car: Do you have one? What kind? If not, how do you usually travel? No..I walk or get driven
D is for Dinner: What's on the menu tonight? I'm thinking paneer masala..yummm
E is for Excellence: Name one thing you think you're really good at: Reading
F is for Friends: Tell us something you like about the last friend you spoke to: She cares deeply for everyone
G is for Games: What's the last game you played (computer or board game)? Pokemon Go lol
H is for Home: Where do you consider to be your "hometown"? Is it where you live now? That question always confuses me, so I'm just going to say both Flower Mound and Fairbanks, places I have lived in the longest
I is for Internet: What websites do you look at every day? LJ, Yahoo, List Challenges, Facebook, Choice of Games (choose-your-own adventure stories), etc
J is for Job: What did you want to be when you grew up? Are you doing that now? A vet, a botanist, a historian, etc. No, I work at a bookstore lol
K is for Kitchen: Are you a good cook? What's your go-to dish? No
L is for Learning: Are you studying or learning anything new right now? I'm learning Norwegian on Duolingo..interesting, but not as fun as Latin haha
M is for Movies: What's the last one you watched and did you like it? Hmm..maybe Of Human Bondage?? The main character has a club foot, and people with disabilities fascinate me, so I had to watch it lol..it was pretty boring though (I also watched the scenes with Larys Strong in House of the Dragon for the same reason, though his clubfoot is much worse..yeah I'm weird :P)
N is for Nightmares: Do you have bad dreams? Any recurring themes? I still have dreams about tornadoes..I guess Texas scarred me for life haha. I also dream I need oxygen because of sleep apnea, which is common when you have that (I haven't been able to get used to my current CPAP mask, because it's annoying when trying to sleep on my side, so I got a different mask and will try it tonight)
O is for Orders: What's the last thing you bought online? A story from Choice of Games..annoying you can only read so far before having to buy it, but I imagine the creators work hard on them..
P is for Pop Culture: Do you follow the world of celebrity and know what the hottest new music, movies and trends are? I don't really follow it, though I do like to know what movies are coming out in case I want to see one in the theater. If I know about a trend or something, I probably came across it accidentally
Q is for Quiet: If you're home alone, do you like silence or background noise like music or the TV? When I come home from work, definitely silence. In the evening I like to watch YouTube videos, maybe a movie occasionally
R is for Reading: What's your go-to genre? Exploration/survival stories, locked-in/historical mysteries, sci-fi, etc
S is for Sweets: What's your favourite dessert or sweet treat? Strawberry milkshakes, red velvet cake, ice cream, etc
T is for Travel: Where did you last take a trip? Santa Fe, Kansas, Florida. I'm going to Puerto Rico in a couple weeks!!
U is for Useless: Name something you're just really bad at: Math. That subject has never been my forte, so don’t expect any help from me. <-- SAME haha, I'm pretty sure I have a math learning disability :P
V is for Vision: Do you wear glasses or contact lenses? Glasses, because my vision is terrible :P
W is for Weather: What's your perfect day, weather-wise? In the high 60s, maybe around 70, sunny and a light breeze, then a refreshing thunderstorm in the afternoon
X is for X-Men: If you could have a superpower, what would it be? Flying or talking to animals
Y is for Yesteryear: What period of history is most interesting to you? The Golden Age of Polar Exploration, the Renaissance (four-poster beds!! Haha), etc
Z is for Zero: What popular activity do you have zero interest in doing? Skydiving..I'd be worried my parachute wouldn't open haha
There was a big leak at work, so me, Lucie and Vicki had to clear boxes out of the area, and in one box was a GIANT spider, we were all freaking out haha. Vicki went to put it outside and it started moving and started squealing haha..we laughed at ourselves once the spider was safely outside (Denise will be amused to hear that story tomorrow, since she's not scared of spiders :P)
