Staff Pick of the Week!
Jun. 15th, 2022 08:30 pmAt work Adam will do a "Staff Pick of the Week" on Facebook, and this week was mine! I bet you'll NEVER guess what I picked :P

Everyone else has had their picture taken in the bookstore, but mine had to be totally Cherry-themed, of course! The little explanation of why I picked it was hard, because there's SO MUCH I can say about that book lol, but hopefully I did it some justice :P
Today is mom's birthday! Me, Ryan and Jo took her to the Salmon Bake (her traditional place lol) and to get ice cream..yum! I'm always amused her birthday is exactly a week after mine :P
Now we've been getting smoke from forest fires hundreds of miles away..I wasn't expecting to wake up on Sunday and see orange light coming through the window. If the summer stays as dry as it's been, there will probably be a lot more fires D:
( june 11-15 )
Today's trivia: Dexterous comes from the Latin word dexter, meaning "on the right side." Since most people are right-handed, and therefore do things more easily with their right hand, dexter developed the meaning of "skillful." English speakers crafted dexterous from dexter and have been using the resulting adjective for anyone who is skillful—in either a physical or mental capacity—since at least the early 1600s
