May. 6th, 2022 04:20 pm1. Do you like other people buying you clothes? If they know about my sensory issues lol..I have a hard enough time finding clothes myself!
2. Have you ever bought a present for someone that they hated/disliked? I'm not sure, but it's possible
3. What nicknames do you have/have had? For a long time Ryan called me "Phoebe/Phoebes" because he thought I was like Phoebe from Friends lol. When I was into pirates I wanted to be called "Morgan" (especially after watching Cutthroat Island), when I was obsessed with The Hunchback of Notre Dame" I called myself Esmeralda, etc
4. Did you have any pretend or imaginary friends? No
5. Would you say you are a good or bad influence to others? Maybe both?? Haha
Many years ago someone named Judy volunteered at the bookstore..she graduated from Harvard, made her own program at the university here, and wrote a bunch of books..but then something happened to her, and she had to give it up (she told me what it was once, but I don't remember now). We became friends and would go to lunch, and on time we even volunteered at the animal shelter. She did seem somewhat "off" when I would see her, but not horribly so. Eventually we just stopped doing things, though she'd shop at the bookstore sometimes. She emailed me the other day wanting to go to lunch again, and do some shopping. We made it for today, but she was pretty late, which had me in a weird anxious mood. But she was far worse today than I'd ever seen her..I don't know if it's some kind of dementia slowly whittling her away, but it made me really upset. :( I didn't want to go shopping, so we got smoothies instead. I'm sad about whatever is happening in her brain, but I'm glad she's still able to get out and do things :)
There was a shooting a couple hours ago on 2nd Avenue downtown..that's way too close to home D: (I live on 7th Avenue). The person didn't make it..sad :(
