I can't believe how crazy the weather in Texas has been! I heard Flower Mound even got into the NEGATIVES! They must have been totally freaking out..the coldest it got when I lived there was in the teens, which was definitely a big deal (the "inches of snow" title still made me laugh though :P). It's only 5 degrees there right now! Texas is under a winter storm warning for the first time in history..it even snowed in Galveston!! It'll be in the 50s there next week though..here in Alaska is just stays cold. :P It's ALWAYS windy there, so I imagine 5 degrees there feels a lot more colder than here..so thankful Fairbanks isn't usually windy in the winter haha. They'll remember this the rest of their lives!
