Apr. 24th, 2020 11:06 am1. Are books losing importance as a source of information and entertainment? Maybe for some people, so I'm always happy seeing the younger generations get excited about books lol
2. Are e-books the death of paper books? Will paper books disappear? NEVERR. Part of the experience is turning the pages and smelling it LOL
3. Should libraries focus on improving their technological resources rather than building a larger collection of paper books? They should do both
4. How important are early reading skills in a child’s academic performance? Very..you learn so much when you know how to read
5. Are people who spend a lot of time reading fiction wasting their time which could be better spent doing more useful activities? What?? No way! You definitely need to escape from reality sometimes!
They're allowing restaurants to open again, but with lots of restrictions..hand sanitizer at every table, having to make a reservation before you eat there, tables ten feet apart, etc. Some aren't going to because they think it's too early..it's best to be cautious, but I'm sure everyone is super bored lol. Hopefully those restrictions will help and keep Fairbanks from having cases again..
