This or that book survey
Jun. 3rd, 2017 11:29 amHardback or paperback: Either, unless I'm traveling, then paperback so it can fit in my bag and stuff lol
Borrow or buy: Buy..one time I borrowed a book and wanted a copy, and didn't see another for like eight or nine YEARS. I was SO happy when I finally found a copy at the bookstore haha
Fantasy or Sci-Fi: Fantasy, but sci-fi like The Martian can be good too
Love-Triangle or love at first sight: Bleh, give me adventure, not annoying romance drama :P
Wall shelves or bookcases: Bookcases, though wall shelves might be more practical if you have a lot of books lol
Bad plot with good characters or good plot with bad characters: Good plot with bad characters, maybe..at least I'd enjoy the plot :P
Harry Potter or Percy Jackson: Harry Potter..I've never read Percy Jackson, even though one book takes place on Hubbard Glacier haha:

How awesome is that cover??
Booklr or Bookstagram: I don't know what either of those are..
Contemporaries or Fantasy: Contemporaries maybe..I don't read much fantasy anymore..
English books or books in your native language: English is my native language :P
Buy in a bookshop or buy online: Both, though going in a bookstore is more exciting lol
Amazon or Book Depository: Amazon..never been to the other one
Buy because of the cover or because of the description: Book covers will definitely draw me in, but ultimately, it's the description that counts. <-- Yeah, pretty much. If the cover looks exciting, I'm more likely to pick it up lol
Alphabetical shelves or colour coordinated: Alphabetical..at home they're somewhat by subject though..Antarctic/polar books together, series together, etc
Different sized books or matching sizes: Whatever, it doesn't matter if I love the book and want to own it lol
Wait to marathon a series or read as they’re released: Depends..if I come across a new series I might read a bunch at once, otherwise just as they're released
Movie or TV adaptations: I'm probably more likely to watch a movie, unless it's like Game of Thrones or something..
Reading indoors or outdoors: Indoors is more cozy :P
Coffee or Tea: I don't really like either..
Bookmarks or random objects to mark your page: Bookmarks..it is fun finding random objects in books though (one time I found a penny :P)
Dog-earing or bookmarks: Bookmarks
Be your favourite character or be their best friend: Hmm..depends on the book..like it would be awesome to be Hermoine in Harry Potter, but I definitely wouldn't want to be Katniss from The Hunger Games
Physical or e-book: Physical! E-books just aren't the same..
Read in bed or on a chair: In bed, the best place to read :D
Audio book or e-book: Audio book, but only if it's The Worst Journey in the World. :P Audio books usually drive me crazy, since I can read faster than they can talk (it was so painful in school..I just wanted to move on and the narrator would be speaking sooo sloooowww. Sometimes I read ahead lol)
Series or stand-alones: Both
Reading in the winter or reading in the summer: Anytime!!
OMG so Ryan came up behind me and said "Heather!" and when I turned around he was holding a dead rabbit Greyboy had killed! That was quite a start to the morning LOL. He then proceeded to skin it and said we're having it for dinner. :P Ryan said Greyboy was very proud of himself haha (he took a video showing Greyboy going under the house to hide it from Abby, who was right behind him :P)
