Books read in June
Jul. 1st, 2014 03:59 pmMountain Men: The Remarkable Climbers and Determined Eccentrics Who First Scaled the World's Most Famous Peaks by Mick Conefrey (Jun 1-9)
Living on the Edge: The Winter Ascent of Kanchenjunga by Cherie Bremer-Kamp (Jun 10-15)
Mountain Vision: Lessons Beyond the Summit by Jeff Evans (Jun 15-18)
Alaska Expedition: Marine Life Solidarity by James P. Sweeney (Jun 19-25)
We Are the Cat: Life Through the Eyes of the Royal Feline by Terry Bain (Jun 26-28)
YAY finally five books read in a month haha :D
Also, ughh: FAIRBANKS—It's official, but just barely. A rain storm that started at around 11 p.m. Monday dumped just enough rain at the Fairbanks International Airport before midnight to make this June the wettest on record in more than 100 years in Fairbanks. The last-minute rain pushed the monthly precipitation total to 3.56 inches, besting the 3.55 inch total that fell in 1949. The average rainfall for June is 1.37 inches
It can stop nowww. I guess I'll take it over being in the 90s though, like last year in June. We have crazy weather..
( DAY 27: Favorite Bakery )
Today's trivia: Saturn's moon Titan has cryo-volcanoes that spew a mixture of water and ammonia that freezes at -100C
