Now that was interesting
Nov. 22nd, 2010 03:20 pmIt did end up raining..the roads are REALLY slippery now. It was crazy walking to work in the rain while walking on snow haha. There was only one other person at work when I got there. Eventually Paulette came in too..I was surprised cause she lives in North Pole (11 miles away). She said it was the longest 11 miles of her life haha. So it was only the three of us today. It was smart they stayed home..it was hard enough just walking on the ice. The schools closed even (they're closed tomorrow too). I fell twice walking home..eesh. I tried walking in the snow but it was turning into slushy crap. Maybe I should stay home tomorrow haha..I feel like crap from Paxil withdrawal anyway (feeling dizzy and feeling like my body was being shocked at work..no thanks). Apparently a rainfall this late in November is really, really rare..the last time it happened was November 24, 1936. Woww (read this article for more: http://www.newsminer.com/view/full_story/10413545/article-Ice-storm-unprecedented-in-Interior-Alaska--meteorologists-say?instance=home_lead_story). Crazy stuff
At the end of the month dad's canceling the internet service in Texas..since my email is MSN based it's gonna get deleted as well. So I made a new one..it's goodness_glaciers@hotmail.com. Rather annoying but I was glad to have a new name haha
