Day of embarassment?

At lunch today I picked up the container with popcorn chicken from the top and I walked by the principal and he took it away from me and said something like "hold it the proper way so it won't spill" in a babyish voice and gave it back to me...OMG...I've held it that way before and I was fine! I am NOT a baby...I can handle it!! And then my English teacher called on me to answer a question in part of the story we were reading and I had noooo clue where to find it! He always calls on me when I don't know the answer!! So I say the wrong answer and people laugh at me...WHY DOES HE HAVE TO CALL ON ME?! Why does he have to make me look stupid in front of everyone? I mean I pay attention of course but I have trouble finding things we had just read. Oh and during speech this person was annoyed with me cause I couldn't go up and ask the teacher something...she said I was a senior and that should make me brave...what does grade have to do with being brave?! My speech teacher scares me and so does asking a teacher something! Should I talk to my English teacher or something?
