Lotsa choirs
Aug. 1st, 2006 09:47 amMy Dies Irae CD came yesterday. It has some awesome songs on there...like O Fortuna! Now I have four versions on my playlist haha. Dies Irae hardly sounded familiar. Ode to Joy has words!! And they have a verson of Pomp and Circumstance Marches...I like the version on the CD better...the choir sounds better. Polovtsian Dances is awesome and danceful. In the Hall of the Mountain King is AWESOME...it's sooo epic and operatic. One of the guys sounded like he was saying "eesh run 'em over!" haha. Anvil Chorus is very fun. Entrance of the Toreadors is awesome!!! I've heard it before on TV and it was played at the flamenco dance in Spain and I've wanted to know the name for sooo long! It gets stuck in your head easily. Lotsa the songs are churchy...and sound the same. Why must church music sound the same??
I told people on the HammerFall forum churches here don't have bells and they were like "what?!" *cries*
