Yay Latin nerds!
Feb. 4th, 2006 08:06 pmWhoa today was long...I had to get up at 6 and I got home at around 7:40. The competition was at a high school waaay far away...I listened to music on the way. When we got there us and people from other schools went to the gym for a short assembly...lotsa people with Latin on their shirts! Then I went to go take the tests I was supposed to take...it was sooo fun! *is a nerd* Then I went to the cafeteria where everyone else was and got snacks and hung out. Then we went to play certamen (like Jeopardy)...we had to wait a looong time for it to start...the chairs in the room ruled! Then it finally started...man the questions were hard! Out team won though. Then we had to wait some more for the next round (soooo glad for my ipod). I got some pizza and Chex Mix and Oreos...yummy...finally the next round started and we got beat majorly...I have no clue how those teams knew those questions...we had 0 points and the other had like 120. Then I went to watch Star Wars 3! It definitely took my boredom away...I WANT THE SOUNDTRACK...*loves the epic battle music at the end* Then was the awards ceremony (5 PM)...I didn't win anything but that's ok cause I had fun...almost everyone in our group won something though...I am kinda jealous but this was only my first time. The award ceremony lasted FOREVER...it was finally over at like 6...on the bus ride home everyone was seriously hyper...I couldn't listen to music cause it was too loud and I was tired anyway...it was amusing to listen to them though...the bus ride back seemed to take forever too. And it was cold...especially at 6:30 AM! State competition is next and it's on a Friday and Saturday...I shall go to that too and it shall be fun...hopefully I won't have to get up at 6...*falls over from tiredness*
