Hi! I’m driving to Oklahoma till Thursday and we’ll meet other family there too…we’re gonna stay in a cabin thingy. Well…June 15-July 5 I went to Spain, France, and Italy…it was sooo fun!!! Europe is so awesome. I’m really obsessed with bells lol. My favorite place was Carcassonne, France. The name means “ringing of bells.” Oh yeah. I shall write later

6:29 PM - We are heeere! We have been for an hour or so.
DSCN0543
I saw TONS of churches on the drive here…two even had bells!! I also saw a school with a bell. We listened to The Hunchback of Notre Dame soundtrack, Dreamquest, Dies Irae and some of Avantasia. I keep getting songs stuck in my head. We met up with Julie, her kids, and grandma at a lake. Man Joelle has grown!! She can talk in full sentences and walk!! A definite improvement from last time. She gave me a big hug. :)
DSCN0552
Julie and her kids are Catholic. I’m kinda…jealous. We’re gonna eat dinner like…right now. I’ll write more later

7:07 PM - We just ate dinner. It was hamburgers and hotdogs…they were good. Well…the cabin is pretty big. There’s a basement, 1st floor, and another floor…there’s lotsa rooms. The view is very pretty. I’m not sure what we’re gonna do the rest of the night. I’ll write more tomorrow

11:49 AM - Last night grandma, me, mom and Ryan played Scrabble. It was soo fun and we were hyper lol. Then I watched The Emperor’s New Groove and went to bed. Earlier after breakfast we went to a river and went canoing and Julie and her kids went swimming (well kinda). It was nice but hot. We’re eating lunch now. Write later

10:31 PM - After lunch I watched The Mummy and played Pictionary and pool (we’ve played lots pool). The kids were playing mom’s keyboard and suddenly heard these bells and I’m like “OMG! *drool*” I had to play the bells too haha. Then we ate dinner…chicken something…can’t spell it lol. It was good. Then I watched the beginning of The Mummy Returns and played more pool and watched the sunset and then played Scrabble and now we’re talking…apperently we’re going to bed now. Fine with me lol. I’ll write more tomorrow

4:34 PM - This morning everyone but grandma and I went to the river. Ryan and mom and Jessalyn came back before Julie and Joelle and Jordan with fish…mom cut off their heads while they were still alive!!! OMG horrible! Then they were eaten. I don’t eat fish and even if I did I don’t think I coulda eaten them after what I just saw. I watched The Mummy Returns while they were away. We’ve played more pool and Scrabble and I put on a CD by Frank DellaPenna (he plays on an instrument with bells called a carillon). [I met him at Scarborough Faire and loved his music.] In Scrabble I had the letters “ell” and I was waiting for a B so I could spell bell and mom put a B down and I was like “woo!!” and then grandma put something there! OMG I was so mad!

Ooo I wanna tell about my dreams. The night before last’s was I was in a jail and these people were gonna eat me or I’d go to hell. I escaped somehow and was in a European city and was afraid the people who wanted to eat me would find me. These church bells started ringing and I saw them and then walked somewhere else and the dream ended. Last night I had a dream it was the first day of school and I went to my first class and the bell rang and it sounded like Frank DellaPenna playing Carol of the Bells! My teacher alternated between a girl and a guy with a long beard (same person though). Then I was trying to find my next class and it was a place I’d never been before and the late bell rang (to Carol of the Bells again) and I gave up trying to find it. At my next class I looked over the wall and found the classroom. I also saw a church but it turned into a sign saying the church was down the road or something. I was in speech and I had to write a speech and I was asking the teacher about it and I think I woke up. I have weird dreams

Right now dinner is being made. Tomorrow we leave…mom said she was gonna take a different way home and there’ll be more cities!! Yay! I’ll write more tomorrow

Hiiii! It’s spring break and I’m going to London! We’re gonna visit Aunt Cindy and I hope we see awesome, epic things! I’ll write again when we get there or something (or when the first day’s done lol)

We are here. The plane ride was looong and annoying! The guy in front of me put his seat down and it was hard to get stuff…the guy in back of me kept poking my seat…ahh! I put on classical/opera music and tried to sleep. I heard a song by Paganini (Luca Turilli likes him)! He played the fastest violin solo I’ve ever heard. No wonder Luca likes him. We FIIINALLY landed (oh, I looked what movies were playing…Dreamgirls was one. I was watching it cause of the stage lights…my new obsession haha. [I hung stage lights in Tech Theater, which somehow got me obsessed lol.] The movie got boring though. Didn’t watch all of it) and went through customs and stuff and a driver guy drove us to Cindy and Dean’s house. He was so nice…I loved his accent!

We got to their house and said hi (even the dog Bandit haha).
DSCN0812
We talked about going to an art show thing and we took the train there. I saw awesome epic old buildings but I couldn’t get a pic of any (except a church near Cindy and Dean’s house). Well we got to the art thing…STAGE LIGHT HEAVEN OMG! I was walking around the huge place looking at the lights instead of the art at first haha. [People must have been like “wtf is she doing??" haha.] There was tons of art to see (and buy…but it’s EXPENSIVE!) and lots of people and I got reaaally tired but Cindy’s obsessed with art and kept on looking. We were there for like 2-3 hours! I finally just couldn’t stand it anymore and had to get out…too bad outside was COLD. We went inside again and I started crying and begged mom to ask Cindy to leave. Ugh…too much autistic stimuli. [One of my more embarrassing memories. *shudders*] We FINALLY left and I was mad at Cindy but after we were far enough away from the place I was better. Weird what autism can do to you after awhile haha. [Being exhausted from traveling didn’t help either.] Then we took the train home and here I am. Dinner’s almost ready. I shall write more tomorrow

Wow what a day…yesterday, technically, since it’s past midnight. First we went to the church near Cindy and Dean’s house…it was prettyful. Ryan said it was built in like 720! Wooow haha.
DSCN0820
Then we rode the train to London and then got on the Underground (subway…it still smells somewhat the same haha) to Westminster and saw the tower of Big Ben (and heard it ring…SWEET), the Houses of Parliament, the Thames River, the London Eye…we were gonna go on the London Eye but the line was too long…we may go back and ride it at night.
DSCN0832
Then we went to Westminster Abbey…yay gothic pretty cathedral! Third time to go there. I tried to translate the Latin in the cathedral (there was so much!). We spent like an hour and a half in there
DSCN0840
Super epic cathedral!

When we got outside the sky was dark with storm clouds. We got on the subway again and rode to Trafalgar Square.
DSCN0850
It was raining…we got out umbrellas…and it stopped raining like 10 seconds later, and the sky became almost totally clear and pretty blue. Wow. There weren’t many pigeons at Trafalgar Square this time. We then went to St-Martin-In-The-Fields Church! I’d been wanting to go in since last time in London…it was pretty and the organ was EPIC. I also heard its bells

Then we went to Piccadilly Circus!
DSCN0873
The neon signs had changed somewhat but the Statue of Eros was mostly the same. It was REALLY cold and windy (it has been since we’ve been here! Grr) and cloudy once again. We went to the London Trocadero and I saw this picture place where they take photos of you dressed up in old clothes. I did it…this guy dressed me up in this Victorian dress and hat. Well earlier at Westminster Abbey I was saying how I wanted to try the clothes the mannequins in the displays were wearing on to see if they were comfy and stuff. Haha well the stuff I was wearing wasn’t really uncomfortable. It was soo awesome and fun!
DSCN0881
They made me take off my glasses, which made my eyes water when trying to look at the camera..I was worried that would show up in the picture haha

Then we went back outside and waited on the steps leading up to Eros for Cindy and Dean (they had to work today). We ate at Garfunkel’s (remember these places? Haha) and then went to see the musical Wicked…IT WAS SOOOO AWESOME!!! The lights and effects were AMAZING. I gotta do a report on a play (tech things) for tech theater and I wrote down technical things so I can remember. Ahh it was great! Been wanting to see a play in London! The singing and acting was great too! And now we’re home…write more later or if it’s past midnight tomorrow haha
P.S. - Lord Byron is buried in Westminster Abbey. AWESOME POET! [In school I did an essay on the poem The Destruction of Sennacherib, which I loved: “The Assyrian came down like the wolf on the fold/And his cohorts were gleaming in purple and gold;/And the sheen of their spears was like stars on the sea,/When the blue wave rolls nightly on deep Galilee.” It sounded epic to me probably lol]

3-20-07
Hmm…today I I think I got up at 11 something! OMG haha. We took the train to London again and went to St. Paul’s Cathedral…OMG it’s soooo pretty!
DSCN0912
The cieling paintings are so beautiful and there was Latin. I don’t remember being that amazed when I was there with dad. Wow. A guy also played the organ while we were there. We walked up to the second level of the cathedral’s dome (the third level was closed - too windy). Oh man it was MAJORLY cold and windy on the second level! Imagine what the third would’ve been like!
DSCN0915
I heard its bell…every time I’ve tried to take a video of the bells (except for Big Ben) I was too late. Not like the bells last year in Europe

We were gonna go to another church after that but had trouble finding it [Ryan had just watched The Da Vinci Code, and wanted to find the church it was filmed at] so we crossed the Milennium Bridge to walk to the London Eye. Man it was cold. We met Dean at a resturant called Giraffe (he had to work). I had a yummy smoothie and a burrito. It was dark by then and we rode the London Eye…IT WAS SO AMAZING AND AWESOME!!! The tower of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament lit up is SOOOO PRETTY!!!
DSCN0956
Oh man riding it at night is amazing. I think I saw Piccadilly Circus cause I saw flashy lights. It was an amazing way to end the night!! Then we took the train back to the house and I took a WARM shower haha. Write more tomorrow

3-21-07
Today we went to Winsor Castle.
DSCN0964
It was still cold and windy. It was a little warmer lol. We had a tour of some of the outside - I loved our guide’s cape! People still live there…that would be EPIC. We went into these different fancy rooms…some of them were amazing. Some had these HUGE tapestries…they must have taken FOREVER to make!! I took a lot of pics outside haha…one by a guard…that was scary! I know he couldn’t do anything to me but still lol.
DSCN0983
This was absolutely terrifying haha, especially when mom said he followed me with his eyes! *shivers*

We were gonna go in a church but it was closed. Then we went shopping for a little while then drove back to the house. My feet hurt again…LOTS of walking during this trip haha. I shall write more tomorrow lol

3-22-07
Today we went to Portsmouth harbor and saw Lord Nelson’s ship that fought at Trafalgar.
DSCN0991
It was AWESOME. We got to see the inside and saw where Nelson got shot and where he died. WHOA. We went to these museums and saw a sail from Victory (Nelson’s ship). It was HUGE. We saw another ship, the Mary Rose (I think it’s named that).
DSCN0997
It sunk in 15 something [1545] riiight in front of King Henry the 8th (it was his ship). How embarassing haha. It was found again in the 60s or 70s [1971] and it was preserved cause it was in silt and TONS of very well preserved artifacts were found (some sketelons still had clothes on them!) and we saw some of them in the museum - it’s amazing (though my feet hurt…again). We saw what’s left of the ship itself…WHOA. It’s beeing sprayed with waxy stuff to preserve it. [I was excited when I saw the Mary Rose on an episode of Drain the Oceans! They think she sank when a gust of wind hit the ship and made her lean over, causing the ocean to rush in to the open gunports, which flooded the ship and sank her. They turned off the spray in 2013. Hopefully it’ll stay well preserved!] Oh, and this morning…it SNOWED. I WANT TO BE WAAARM! *cries*
I think Trafalgar Square will have a lot more significance and meaning now. And I love these words by Nelson: “England expects every man to do his duty” and his last words: “thanks God I’ve done my duty.” We ate at a pub for dinner and now we’re back home. Write more tomorrow

3-23-07
Today we went to see Marble Arch first. Not sure what the significance is.
DSCN1008
Then we went to Leicster Square…it’s a cool place! It has lots of theaters. Then we went to Covent Garden…there is an opera house there and lots of shops and vendors (too many people…ahh!). Next we went to a little tucked in shopping place that we saw on Tuesday (I think it was Tuesday). Oh man it was cold. Cindy bought a red jacket there. We went looking for the church we couldn’t find on Tuesday and Temple Church…and by chance we found this REALLY old church. The steeple was the inspiration for the wedding cake! I think it was called St. Bride’s Church.
DSCN1020
We still tried to look for Temple Church and I dunno if we found either of the churches…oh well. Then we went to Piccadilly Circus…wooow there was a lot of people there. I took yet another pic and videos…I didn’t wanna leaaave haha. It’s a special place. Then we went back to the house. Tomorrow we leave. Fast trip lol. Till next time I write!

4-10-08
Hiii! Wow this journal’s mostly all filled up…lots of memories! This may be my last entry. Last year mom and Ryan moved to Alaska for mom’s job and so she can retire (or get closer to it haha). Well…now it’s my turn. I could go back to Texas to visit though…right now it’s warm there and freezing in Alaska…oh yaay. [It was 10 degrees when we landed and I was only wearing a light leather jacket..no wonder I was cold lol.] Right now I’m in the airport at Seattle and hopefully will get on the flight to Fairbanks. We were actually supposed to go to Fairbanks yesterday but American Airlines cancelled over 400 flights on Tuesday, over 1000 on Wednesday, and more today! [Something was wrong with the wheels and they had to be inspected I think.] At least we weren’t stranded at the airport! A new step in life eh? If this is my last entry…bye and thanks for preserving many memories? Haha

20. Which season do you think is the prettiest? Spring and fall
