Because of the lyric "something's out of order, people in the corners," I think of that song when I see an out of order sign :P

Good morning Palmy! Today, we are going to Colorado! I’ll write you later Palmy!…We are now in the airplane! In Colorado, we are going to drive through the mountains to Dinosaur Natinol Monument. Mom took a picture of you and Dino.
I hope we don’t crash! The flight will last 1 hour and 30 minutes! That’s short! Palmy, I hope you have a good flight!…We are in Colorado now!…We rented a silver Jeep Cherokee.
We are now on our way to Grand Junction! I’ll write you later Palmy!…We went to Wal-Mart to get some stuff. We are still driving to Grand Junction. Mom says it will take 5 hours!…We are in Grand Junction and in our hotel!…We went to eat at a place called rockslide. [*googles restaurant* Oh wow, it still exists!! That’s so cool!] I had a delicous dinner of bread and cheese pizza. I had milk and water to drink. Our hotel is called Hawthorne Suites. It’s named after a hawthorne tree! Goodnight Palmy!

Good morning Palmy! I am watching a cool show about leaves! [Ryan was really upset about that for some reason. :P] I’ll write you later Palmy! We are waiting in the car for mom to check what time the dino dig starts. She told us we have to meet by this museum building at 8:15! So, tommorow we probably have to get up around 6 something! We are now on our way to Dinosaur Natinol Monument! I’ll write you later Palmy!…We are now in Dinosaur Natinol Monument! We are in Utah, because we have to go to Jenson. There is a visitors center. The quarry (where dinosaur bones are) is near Jenson. I’ll write you later Palmy! Those dino places were cool! The quarry had dinosaur bones still intact in the mountain! They built it on the side of the mountain.
We saw petroglyphs on some rocks.
There is also wild junipers! In the museum, there were fossils, and even a dinosaur garden! Of course there were plants!…We have seen prarie dogs, cows, a llama, antelope, sheep, magpies, and lizards. I’ll write you later Palmy!…We are in our hotel! Goodnight Palmy!

Good morning Palmy! Today, we are going on a dino dig!! I hope we find some dinosaur bones! I’ll write you later Palmy!…Digging up dino bones was cool! Ryan found a bone. We found it, dug it up, plasterd it, and got it out of the rock! [In a museum somewhere are our names with the bone, as the people who dug it up. :D]
We also found another bone! It was big, and it’s going to take a long time to get it out of the rock! There was a real paleotologist there. These other 2 people found this dino bone that was the biggest dino bone I have ever seen! We were the only group to plaster and get our bone out of the rock! Other people found dinosaur bones too! We dug for about 6 hours! It was fun! [Except that my ears sunburned so bad that they blistered..ow!!]…After the dino dig, we went to a museum. It even had a fossilized PALM frond!!!! They had other fossilized plants and animals, but the fossilized palm frond was my favorite fossil! After the museum, we orderd 3 small pizzas. Then we went in the hotel’s pool. Mom pinkey promised me we would after the dig and the museum. The pool was warm and sort of big. [I had also just watched Jaws, so I was afraid there was going to be a shark in the pool LOL.] We had fun in the pool. Well, goodnight Palmy!

Good morning Palmy! Today, we are leaving Colorado and going back to Texas! We are going to do stuff in Colorado before we drive back to Denver and fly back to Texas. I’ll write you later Palmy! We went to the Bontanical Gardens! It was cool! There was a greenhouse and a butterfly garden! I even got a PALM frond!! [A guy was trimming a palm tree, and he let me take one of the fronds he had cut off haha.] There was lots of tropical trees and plants. We are now on our way to Denver! I’ll write you later Palmy! We are now on the plane back to Texas. My PALM frond is on the plane, too!! [I wonder what security thought of THAT when it went through the metal detector haha! It had to be stowed in a closet on the plane. :P] The flight is only 1 hour and 25 minutes! That is shorter than flying from Texas to Colorado!…I’ll write you later Palmy!…We are at home right now! The PALM frond is in my room right now! [I don’t have it anymore, but I had it for a long time! I loved seeing it on my wall lol.] You are so happy about all this palm stuff arn’t you? Well, so am I! Good morning Palmy! Tomorrow is my birthday!! I will be 12 years old! The golden rain tree is getting its seedpods…We took the dog for a walk a few hours ago. My dad said I will be 11 for 7 more hours, than I’ll be 12! I already got presents!…We are in the car and going out to eat at the Olive Garden and going to Toys “R” Us to get me a birthday present. We played 2 games, Yatzee and Farckle. Mom won Farckle! When Ryan played Yatzee he got 3 Yatzees! That’s what made Ryan win! I was realy behind! I had 7 thousand something points and Ryan and mom had 9 thousand something! Then mom got ahead and won with 10 thousand something points! [Ugh, Yahtzee is too mathy lol.] We cleaned the guinea pig cages today. One of our sago palms has 12 new fronds! I’ll write you later Palmy! We can’t eat at the Olive Garden because it’s a long wait, so we are going to eat at Bostin Markit. Their food is good!…We watched a movie called The Land Before Time. It’s a good movie! It’s a dinosaur movie! Well, goodnight Palmy!

Good morning Palmy! Today is my birthday!!…Me and dad had to run a few errands. Ryan and mom decorated for me! She took my palm frond and 2 sago palms and put them as part of my decorations.

Good morning Palmy! I have been playing Paper Mario…I just went in the pool a few minutes ago. Ryan is so annoying about pigs! [LOLOL.] We are going to Grapevine Mills to see a movie called Shrek. I’ll write you later Palmy! Shrek was a good movie! It was also funny! I think the movie is computer animated, [but] the only things that looked computer animated were the people, and the animals. After the movie we had a delicous cheese pizza from Sbarros and a cinnamon roll from Cinnabon. Ryan is on page 100 in Dino, and he’s almost finished with page 100! Ryan is playing with his Barbies. Good morning Palmy! I have been playing Paper Mario and looking at tree books…Today, dad gave Max a bath, then we took him for a walk. We also went in the pool. Do you know Eleni’s moving? She’s moving because her mom works in Dallas and she wants to be closer to her job. She’s one of my friends! I don’t want her to move! We watched a movie called Deep Blue Sea. Mom went to work…Guess what, I went in the pool with the Kreepy on! I used to be afraid of the Kreepy, [the pool cleaner, I didn’t like the sound it made] but not anymore! Dad is releived! When you go to the library, you can check out books! I checked out Redwoods. There is even a bookfair! I went for a bike ride, then I went in the pool…I played Paper Mario and I got to a new place called Dry Dry Ruins! Ryan is trying to defeat something realy hard! I can’t even defeat it! Good morning Palmy! I have been playing Paper Mario…The refrigerator man came and finally fixed the refrigerator! This guy is realy hard to defeat on Paper Mario! I have been reading tree books. I’ll write you later Palmy! I had a delicious dinner of chicken stir-fry. Mom said it’s sort of like a Chinese food. I also trimmed shrubs and hedges today. They were nandinas, hollies, barberries, Indian hawthornes, and 1 twig off of a wax privit. I got hot after trimming! Ryan is playing Paper Mario…Some of our crape myrtles are flowering! Good morning Palmy! Today, I have to go to the orthodontist and Unlock Books. I’ll write you later Palmy! At Unlock Books, we did stuff about dinosaurs! Ryan shure did love that! At the orthodontest, I got my expander and braces off! No more headgear! [YAY. That stuff was awful lol.] We ate lunch [at] a mall. It was good!…There was a big storm tonight! There was lots of thunder and lightning! The news said we were issued a tornado watch! It was also windy! It blew some of the plants over! Ryan let me read his jornal! Cool! Well, goodnight Palmy

Good morning Palmy! Today is mom’s birthday! I have been playing Paper Mario. I got to a new place in Paper Mario!…Sarabeth and Jordan [school friends. Sarabeth is married now!] came over and swam! They don’t know how to swim, but they actualy swam a little! They sure did a good job! After that I looked at tree books and went for a bike ride. We are going out to eat and seeing a movie. I’ll write you later Palmy! We ate at Colter’s, a bar-b-q place. Then we wached Tomb Rader. Laura Croft was the main character. It sure was an action packed movie! I liked that movie! We went to Grapevine Mills and Krispy Kream. We also went to the lake. I brought my tree books. I’ll write you later Palmy!…We are going to Oshman’s and we might go see Atlantis the Lost Empire…We went to Vista Ridge Mall! It has PALM trees everywear! Even tall ones! There were rafus palms, king palms, fishtail palms, Canary Islands date palms and more! We played at a park. It was fun! Well, goodnight Palmy!

Good morning Palmy! We are in Chi[c]ago, Illinois right now visiting Aunt Cindy and Uncle Dean. They have 2 dogs named Kesha and Bandit. Bandit is sooo cute! Kesha is too! They moved 3 months ago because Uncle Dean got a new job. There’s this realy old maple tree in there yard. It’s 1 hundred something years old! It’s the biggest maple I have ever seen! I don’t know what kind it is, [but I thought I was an expert! Haha] but I think it’s a sugar, red or black maple. Bandit licks you alot! He’s always hyper! Kesha licks you also…I had a good time with Kesha and Bandit. I like when Bandit licks me! Well, goodnight Palmy!

Another flight crashed in Pensylvannia. Osama bin Laden is the leader. He is from Afganastan. The Taliban are protecting him. Thousands of people died in the attacks. It happened September 11, 2001
In the beginning of Augest, we went to Wichita, Kansas to visit my grampa and grandma Streeter and the huge sycamore tree in the next yard. We did something we didn’t do the last time we were there. When the person with the sycamore wasn’t there, me and Ryan went into their yard and got leaves and bark. Ryan got the biggest leaf I’ve ever seen from a sycamore! We still have it. [I wonder if I still have it..if I do, it’s hiding in Payson somewhere lol.] I saw TONS of sycamores in Kansas! Their leaves smell good! I still have my palm frond from June when I went to Colorado. It’s not brown! My grandma and grampa Hopkins visited me in September! They drove in their camper from Maine! Also my Aunt Julie, my grandma Streeter, Aunt Julie’s kids Jessalyn - 2, and Jordan - 3 or 4. [Wow, Joelle wasn’t born yet! They are all adults now. O_o *feels old*] I taught them the word sycamore. They came in October. While grandpa and grandma were over we went to the Ft. Worth Zoo and the Ft. Worth Arboretum. Well, goodnight Palmy!

Good morning Palmy! We are in Chi[c]ago, Illinois right now visiting Aunt Cindy and Uncle Dean. They have 2 dogs named Kesha and Bandit. Bandit is sooo cute! Kesha is too! They moved 3 months ago because Uncle Dean got a new job. There’s this realy old maple tree in there yard. It’s 1 hundred something years old! It’s the biggest maple I have ever seen! I don’t know what kind it is, [but I thought I was an expert! Haha] but I think it’s a sugar, red or black maple. Bandit licks you alot! He’s always hyper! Kesha licks you also…I had a good time with Kesha and Bandit. I like when Bandit licks me! Well, goodnight Palmy!

Good afternoon Palmy! Did you know that the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in New York City got hijacked! The World Trade Center collapsed, but the Pentagon is damaged. Another flight crashed in Pensylvannia. Osama bin Laden is the leader. He is from Afganastan. The Taliban are protecting him. Thousands of people died in the attacks. It happened September 11, 2001
In the beginning of Augest, we went to Wichita, Kansas to visit my grampa and grandma Streeter and the huge sycamore tree in the next yard. We did something we didn’t do the last time we were there. When the person with the sycamore wasn’t there, me and Ryan went into their yard and got leaves and bark. Ryan got the biggest leaf I’ve ever seen from a sycamore! We still have it. [I wonder if I still have it..if I do, it’s hiding in Payson somewhere lol.] I saw TONS of sycamores in Kansas! Their leaves smell good! I still have my palm frond from June when I went to Colorado. It’s not brown! My grandma and grampa Hopkins visited me in September! They drove in their camper from Maine! Also my Aunt Julie, my grandma Streeter, Aunt Julie’s kids Jessalyn - 2, and Jordan - 3 or 4. [Wow, Joelle wasn’t born yet! They are all adults now. O_o *feels old*] I taught them the word sycamore. They came in October. While grandpa and grandma were over we went to the Ft. Worth Zoo and the Ft. Worth Arboretum. Well, goodnight Palmy!
4. What do you look forward to the most about the colder times of the year? Snuggling under a blanket, Christmas, the Northern Lights, etc
5. Have you ever hung your clothes out on a clothesline? Not that I can remember..
6. What is the dumbest way you’ve injured yourself? My dad told me to step on a mousetrap..mom was NOT happy about that lol. My big toe was sore for weeks..
