Wow... Getting up at 3:45 does NOT sound easy! Eek. That sucks that your mom fell sick for some of the duration of the trip - not always easy.
I'm glad you made it to London safe and sounds! An almost 8 hour flight doesn't actually sound so bad, that's good. That's awesome that you got a good view upon your descent into London. That's awesome that Customs was actually pretty easy too!
