glacier_kitty1. What is your favorite drink of all time? Does it hold a special memory to you or is it just because it tastes good? Lemonade, etc. Both
2. Tea or coffee or hot cocoa? None
3. Best summer time drink? Lemonade and strawberry milkshakes
4. Worst soda brand ever? I don't drink soda so..
5. Water: flavored, bottled, carbonated, or regular old tap? Straight from a glacier :P
Today's trivia: During the middle ages, the wealthy Europeans who were infected with small pox would, like any other, scratch at the pox vigorously, leaving scars on their faces long after they were cured. The wealthy women whom survived the virus would actually fill up the crater-like scars on their face with beeswax, which would dry inside of their face. This gave them the effect of not being about to smile without the beeswax "cracking", therefore the saying was created "Don't crack a smile". This is also the origin of, "Mind your own beeswax"

Date: 2010-07-31 09:28 pm (UTC)Btw,when I was in Vienna I saw a shirt that said "glaciers" on it and had to think of you xD I would have taken a picture but I dunno if it would be considered weird to take a picture of clothes in a store.
Ewww at the beeswax filled scars, but it's always interesting to hear where sayings come from.
