Aug. 30th, 2024 10:27 pm1. Do you believe that music can have a direct effect on your life? Oh yes, music is one of the most powerful things there is
2. What is your current favorite song? "Do You Hear the People Sing?," for one
3. What's the one song from junior high that you can still rattle off all the words to? "We Like to Party" from the Vengaboys LOL. I was also obsessed with "Floorfiller," and to this day, when I see an "out of order" sign, I think "something's out of order, people in the corners" haha
4. Did you have a prom song? I didn't go to prom
5. Do you and your significant other have a "song" that you share? I'm single
Grandma was better today, more smiley and talkative! Like when I sat down I pointed at her and she pointed back at me and smiled lol. That's the grandma I missed! It was fun talking with everyone and petting Blanca throughout the day (cool, they allow pets!). Grandma had found most of the notes I left in May (a couple were still hanging on her mirror!), but the other ones were hidden, and she can't really look for herself anymore, so mom and I showed them to her. I said "remember those notes I left you?" and she smiled wide and said "yes!!," and I showed her the note I left on her jacket that I had worn when I visited Cherry's grave. Now she has a pile of them by her chair lol. I'm so glad that made her happy! Mom and Ryan and I went to Olive Garden, and we all had the five cheese ziti since it's so good lol. I also had the Italian Rum Punch, which had rum, amaretto, and strawberry passion fruit. Yum!! Rum is so good lol. Then we went back to grandma's..it was almost bedtime for her, so I was like "time to close the curtains!!!" and ran to close them LOL. I'm glad grandma seemed better today..hopefully she'll be alright tomorrow too! Mom bought ice cream and strawberries, so we're going to have milkshakes tomorrow..mom makes the best milkshakes, so that'll be fun lol
