2. Who’s the person you’re not seeing? I haven't seen my half sisters Kristi and Jenni in almost 20 years. O_o Even dad rarely sees them..weird
3. Where’s the place you’re not going? Australia..everything wants to kill you D:
4. What’s the problem you’re not fixing? Laziness?? Haha
5. What are the feelings you’re not feeling? Anger, for one

On Tuesday, my nose started dripping like crazy..I thought it was allergies (and was surprised Benadryl didn't help), but after I got home from work I started feeling worse. The next day it seemed like I just had a cold, so I didn't go to work and mom brought me cold stuff and lunch. While she was there I started feeling even worse, and later in the day started coughing

Yesterday I felt even more awful..I felt hot, then got chills (when I took my temperature it was 99, it's usually around 97), my head felt like it was being either squeezed or stabbed with an ice pick, my body (especially my back) was really achy, I was stuffed up..I felt absolutely dreadful. Motrin seemed to help, but Nyquil didn't really do anything. I managed to make it through the day, but when I tried going to bed I was in so much pain I couldn't sleep..it felt like I was dying. Finally I couldn't take it anymore and asked mom to take me to the ER. Of course there was a wait (even at midnight!), so mom got me a blanket and pillow from her car so I could lay down (she's always prepared haha). I felt dizzy and like my skin was being shocked or something. There was a guy in the waiting room hacking up phlegm into a bag. *shudders* When the nurse took my temperature, it was 101.8!! I got a room (I was admiring the curtains outside my room and mom was like "you just wanted to go to the ER to see the curtains!" and I said "it's an added bonus" LOL) and was given Tylenol, which didn't seem to do anything. Then no one came for like two hours (I think there's a rule in the ER where you HAVE to wait four hours to get treated haha). I was REALLY tired of being in pain and just felt dreadful. Finally the doctor came in and said my covid and flu tests were negative..what was it then?? Definitely not a regular cold! The doctor said he's get me something stronger for the pain. Awhile later a nurse came in with meds and discharge paperwork, and said I had to wait like six hours to take the meds. Wait..what?? I was in pain all day, I was NOT waiting six hours to take something, which I told the nurse, and she said she'd talk to the doctor. Eventually a nurse came in and started an IV of saline and pain meds..I wish they'd done that to begin with, but I think they wanted to knock down my fever first (it was 99 when I left). Another person came in to do a chest x-ray (yup, after four hours, I was getting all the attention LOL). After more waiting, the doctor said that I had pneumonia! ("Hazy groundglass opacity left lower lobe compatible with pneumonia" is what my online chart says lol.) He said he was sorry it seemed like he was rushing me and was glad that I spoke up, otherwise it wouldn't have been caught. I know to listen to my body and it just didn't feel right. He sent antibiotics to my pharmacy and finally, at like 5 AM, was able to go home. Yesterday was one of the worst sicknesses and migraines I've ever had (the rainy weather probably was partly the cause of that). If pneumonia is always like that, I NEVER want it again..I just felt awful (I kept asking mom "am I dying??" I have a high pain tolerance, so she must have been pretty worried!). Of course I had to pet the curtains before I left, and a nurse or whoever she was saw me and smiled haha

I didn't cough much in the hospital, but I did after I got home. I only got like four hours of sleep, and while I don't feel great, I still feel better than yesterday. I'm still achy, but my head doesn't feel like it's being stabbed with an ice pick. I'm glad I went last night and didn't wait. I hope the antibiotics work quickly, I'm tired of being sick!

Grandma got to go home this week, and mom said she LOVED all the notes I put everywhere. She deliberately didn't look for them so she could keep being surprised. Aunt Cindy is there (Blanca is much better! She had an overgrowth of bacteria or something like that), and she was amused too. A couple are pretty hidden, so I doubt she's found those yet. I've always loved when mom did that with me, and knew grandma would too. Mom showed me a picture of her happily sitting outside on her patio. I'm glad she's feeling better!
